Coffee drinkers...HELP!
I am a coffee drinker. Not tea. Not soda. Coffee! I need my shot of caffeine in the morning like I need air to breathe! However, I absolutely despise drinking my calories! Why drink them when I can EAT them!? I’d rather chew and savor and enjoy my calories rather than slurping them down. But. I. Cannot. Do. Black. Coffee.…

Strategy for pre dinner munchies
I work full time with an hour commute which means I am really hungry when I walk through the door. Trying to break the nibbling during dinner prep habit. Any suggestions? Usually crave potato chips or cheese stick.

Anbody had MRT (Mediator Response Test) for food sensitivity?
I'm getting this done next week, as I show many signs of inflammation. This wasn't done lightly and is probably long past due. I am wondering if anybody else has had this done and if so, what were the results? I'm curious, but nervous a the same time to see my results.

Any vegans here?
Hey! I am a vegan mom of three. The rest of my family do not practice the same lifestyle as me. I have been a vegetarian for 7 years with a small amount of sea food. But now I am taking the full on vegan step. I am looking for like minded people to share in some stories, motivation and recipes :)

I’m used to doing low carb and was just gonna whip me up a fat bomb.. but while I have like 700 calories left for the day.. Why Progresso? Why?
Why do food companies do this? I eat Progresso soup fairly often. I had some clam chowder last week at 180 calories for 245 grams. That's what I remember the usual label being for quite some time. I bought a couple cans of it on sale this week and when I got ready to log it, I looked at the label and it is now 240 calories…

As I love to cook, making it healthier isn't so bad and the flavor is still great without the bad fats and carbs. Feel free to share your creations!

DAE just hate most fruits and vegetables?
I like the basics, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and corn. I also like apples, bananas, and orange juice (but not oranges themselves). It's really hard to try and eat healthy when I avoid so many foods based on either flavor or texture. Any suggestions? Ways to trick myself into liking more stuff? Salads and steamed…

Nutrients don’t add up... help
The app is saying I’ve got 151 calories left for the day, but almost 300 calories worth of nutrients. I don’t drink alcohol so no empty calories there and everything I’ve entered adds up correctly. Has anyone else had this problem? My remaining carbs for today alone are 220 calories

Too Much Daily Fat?
Looking for opinions on hitting daily macros. I have a problem almost every day hitting my fat macro which for me I have at 20% or 38 grams. I find that I am constantly going over even though I am eating healthy almost every day. My question is, if you go over your fat macro, but are able to stay under your carb macro.…

How to get into cooking more (I hate it)
I’m living at home right now, so I don’t cook a lot. Buying pre-made meals costs more, then I save less and it’s a vicious cycle. Is there a way to make it less painful? All of my meals right now are raw or microwaved. Sometimes 15 minutes in the oven, sometimes the crockpot. I spend less than an hour preparing my meals. I…

HELP! What am I doing wrong?

Weight loss to fast but not on purpose.. advice and help
Hi, my name is Kay. A little bit of a back story first so that my problem is a little more clear. I have had hypothyroidism since about 12 and had half of my thyroid removed at about 14 due to nodules. As an adult it was difficult but not impossible to lose weight. Then this summer I developed a nodule on the other half…

Healthy Grab and Go Grub (From Store) Ideas?
I'm just drawing a blank this AM. I pick up occasional, on-call shifts at a second job. On those days, I don't have time (or want to) to eat when I get home. If I get up at 5AM on those days, it's to workout, not for meal prep. So, looking for some ideas of things I can snag off the shelf at the grocery store (Safeway) on…

Pickles and How to Log Them
Hey all, Newbie here! I am fond of pickled foods as a snack. All kinds. They have a strong flavor which I find satisfying and are generally pretty low-calorie. Sodium intake is not an issue for my health at this time, which is a blessing. Logging them is no problem if they're commercially made and have a label. But what if…

Broken body?
The following has happened to me frequently over the last couple of years - yes I recognise I am in an unhealthy cycle... Tasty Protein powders!
Any recommendations? I've been put off for a while by a truly awful vegan one I had. (texture wasn't smooth and actually made me gag!) think it's time to try again. I'm not vegan but I am vegetarian. Also I mixed it in a cocktail shaker. Baaaaad idea lol. Would a food processer be needed or just a whisk in a bowl? I'll…

Cheating on my diet helps me move past plateau don't know why
Anybody else here have the experience of struggling to lose weight for weeks, then decide to have a few large meals for 2 or 3 days in a row that puts you over calories and then find that you begin to start losing weight again? On the scale I was following approx 1500 calories for 3 weeks. Then for 2 days I had about 2400…

"Cheat" Meals/Days
I don't like the word cheat and aim not to splurge for a day. However if I have a cheeseburger and chips but remain within my daily calorie limit or still with a deficit is this OK?
