Changes in calories after germination and dehydration?
I’m planning on making my own malted milk powder by germinating, dehydrating, and grinding barley and then mixing it with dry milk. From what I can find, 54 grams of Pearl Barley is 200 calories. Will this change after this process? How do I calculate calories per gram once it is complete? Thanks!

Does MFP adjust the RDA Nutrient information based on age? At 45 my RDA iron goal dropped from 18mg to 8mg? I entered my age data in my profile. However, I can't find what MFP actually uses ... other posts suggest MFP uses the RDA for younger women. Any insights?
