Several small meals a day or 2-3 big meals?
Is it just a preference, or is one better then the other? many small (100-250 cal) or 2-3 big (450-600 cal) meals? are there any benefits to either choice? or does it not really matter all that much? thanks <3

Tips on getting more calories? (Medication issue)
So this is kind of a weird setup, and also very delicate. It's taken a lot of trial and error to get this far, but I'm SO BORED. I have (what has been described as "an absolute whopper of a case") ADHD that doesn't respond very well to medication. After 3 years, we finally landed on a cocktail that probably about 25% works…

Penne pasta problem
Still a bit confused on this: The package says allow 100g dry per person, and proceed to cook that 100g of pasta. I have now cooked it and of course it’s grown in size to 203g of cooked pasta. The calories per 100g cooked as directed pasta is 156kcal. Does this mean that the the portion size suggested is aligned with the…

How much can you gain in a month-long binge?
Let me answer that.....16 lbs. :( I just spent pretty much the whole month eating whatever whenever. It started with just a pint of Ben and Jerry's on a weekend, then it spread to the whole weekend, then I was eating healthy 1 day a week(YES, just 1 day a week because I was always trying to push the restart button and…

Add extra calories
My grandmother is recovering from covid. She barley eats. I don’t know why. She says the food is good but will only take a couple bites. I’d say in a day, she may eat 500 calories and most of that being sugary drinks. Are there any supplements that add extra calories/nutrition that I could maybe mix in with her applesauce…

Is it worth it or…

What micronutrients do you track and why?
Unfortunately, MFP only allows you to track 5 nutrients. Right now, I have my settings set to track: carbs, fats, protein, sugar, and fiber. However, lately I've been reading about the negative effects of consuming too much sodium and saturated fat. So I've been thinking about removing sugar and fiber and tracking sodium…

Help please. Negative in my fat intake but under in my daily calorie needs
Hi there, I wonder if someone can help me work this out. One thing with my daily intake I don't quite understand is the damage done if I go into a negative number with 'fat' for example even if I stay within my daily allowance. I haven't eaten much today as you'll see by the picture, fruit, cereal and just sausage…
