Pizza is NOT junk food
On the 600 posts that will roll by today about what to eat and cheat meals and junk food most will mention pizza as being something to cheat with or described as junk food. Pizza can be a great healthy meal. I am not talking about that frozen cardboard thing made in a factory somewhere and you don't have to make it from…

Bolthouse Dressing! Does anyone else love this???!!!
I just discovered this brand at Publix a week ago & I'm in love! 45 calories for a serving?! Low in carbs & sugar as well?! And not to mention it tastes amazing! It's helped me to love salads again, which I had become totally burnt out on. If you are looking for a low calorie dressing, check this one out

is it possible..
is it possible to stay at a weight for years by only eating healthy and not exercising? my best friend is 290 pounds (i'm 140) and she eats everything I do in a day with the exception of a few things here and there. I eat around 1800 calories a day.. she might get to 2000 once in a GREAT while, but for the most part, stays…

fats/calories and healthy fats and going over cals
for some unknown reason, MFP keeps readjusting my ratios without my doing it! Very annoying...but...I'm trying to include a variety of healthy fats in my eating (coconut oil, coconut, avocado, nut butters (not peanut), almond flour, nuts and seeds). These, I'm told are very good for me! I am noticing that I am satiated…

research sources (and stevia)
I know it can be frustrating trying to do research on the internet. Scholarly journals cost money and unless you attend a University with subscriptions to the journals and databases, it's expensive to access them. There are some free consumer sources such as PubMed: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/ Another option is…

Eating for Energy ?
I just started working out with a trainer and love it but find my energy level tends to be low by the end of the hour I spend with him. What are the best things to consume for lunch (which would be 2.5 hrs before my workout) Is there anything that will help just before I start or during as well? Thanks!

Cooking Chicken
I've been wondering about how I add my calories when I cook chicken at home in a skillet. So far, I've just been adding a generic chicken breast and adding whatever I cook it it (butter/oil) each separately to my meal. I do this because I usually try to use something lower in calories, like Smart Balance, to cook with…

is it about what you're eating or the calories?
I was wondering this today, because my mom is making pizza for dinner. I know her pizza is more healthy than pizza from Domino's or Papa John's, but it's still pizza. at the end of the day, does it matter where my calories came from or does it just matter that I was under/met my goal?

creative ways to give your children vegetables?
Hello. I am the mother of a 2 1/2 year old who (like most) is a very picky eater. It has become a concern to me, that he will eat everything on his tray, yet work around his vegetables. Anyone know of a low sodium spaghetti sauces that I can pick up at a walmart, winn dixie, sweet bay or publix? Preferably inexpensive. I don't mind making it myself as long as it's easy and cheap. Did I eat a full serving?
I just ate a container of Trader Joe's Vegetable Green Curry, and I'm wondering how I should note this. The veggies were in a coconutty/oily broth and though I ate all of the veggies, most of the broth was left behind. The container still looks about half full. Thoughts?

Hitting a Wall.
I've been using MFP on and off for about a year and a half now and have been using it daily for about a month and a half now. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong (I'm sure an obscenely common question) but I can't seem to get rid of these last ten pounds. I'm sure I'm making the mistakes that are in the "newbie" forum but I…

Reliable nutrition data for EGGS
