Lay it on me... Sprite Zero and Mio
I do a great job at drinking primarily water. But when I sit down at dinner, some times, I want something tasty or fizzy. Usually, I sacrifice calories in the name of a can of coke. But that's 140 calories that I could use somewhere else. So I decided to try something different. I bought a bottle of Sprite Zero and mixed…

All of a sudden hungry for an early breakfast..
For as long as I can remember I never ate early. I usually am up about 5:30, have some coffee and don't get hungry until between 9 and 10am .. BUT the last few days I have been starving earlier than normal.. like around 7am or so.. Could this be due to some weight loss, change in meal size? is it because I am burning more…

Recipe calculator
I'm new using the recipe calculator and I'm kinda of confused about how to add meats to a recipe. I am going to be spending 4 days at a conference next week and they plan our day from 7 am - 10 pm. We are stuck in the hotel the entire time and they provide all our meals (300+ employees). I usually have a smoothie in the am and then eat several small meals every 2-3 hours. The meals they provide tend to be very heavy in…

B-12 vitamins?? (and vitamins in general)
What is your experience with them? I have a HUGE bottle at home, but don't take them mainly because they STINK (I didn't get the plastic capsules, what a mistake). I read a TON of reviews before purchasing them and most people claimed they gave them added energy (which is my goal here). Did you have extra energy? What…

Sincere question about calorie intake...
MFP says that I am not eating enough although I eat around 1200 per day. I'm 5'3" 181 lbs. I have a goal of 130 lbs. Please keep in mind that I am mostly bed-ridden due to surgery. I do try to get up in my wheelchair and do some Wii tennis for cardio, but it's still not a lot. I sincerely need to know from those who know,…

To eat or not to eat?..before my morning step class that is.
So I typically do not eat anything before heading to the gym to do my cardio, which is usually a step class. My philosophy is I want to tap into and use the stored energy (fat) and not the banana I just ate for breakfast. I'm I correct in my thinking...what say you fellow MFP peeps?

Ok, I feel as though I should post this since there are so many different ways of going about one's diet out there. Protein powders that can be mixed in water?
Hiya, I'm looking for a protein powder that I can mix in water rather than adding the extra calories and sugar from almond milk, like I'm used to. I love the plant protein powder I have been using, but I want to be able to drink more and it just doesn't fit into my calorie goals. Long story short, what protein powders have…

Snack ideas
I've been checking out my food diaries for the past few weeks and I've found that I'm a bit of a sugar-holic!
