gonna blow it
Well, one of my friends just called and wants us to go out to dinner with them tonight. I worked out in the yard for today and earned 400 calories, but that's all I have left for the day. I am not a big salad person, and I prefer to get "real" food when I go out. SO I already know I'm going to blow this day.…

SOOOOO Tired!!!
I am so tired today!!! I woke up tired, and I just couldn't get motivated! I finally did a 30 min. yoga DVD, and that's IT!!! I usually work out for at least an hour, sometimes an hour and a half. Now I feel guilty because I didn't meet my daily exercise goal, and I probably won't have time later to do anything else! I am…

Hooray for me!
I can finally manage to do more than a leisurely walk for exercise. I separated my ribs at the end of December and finally took the bandage off last night. I just did 20 minutes of light floor exercises and feel so liberated. I was getting so sore all the time and gaining weight and I have to get the fibromyalgia back…

need support and prayers
I don't know why today has to be as horrible as it is, but it is what it is, as they say. Well, since I have about 5000 extra calories this week to use up I thought I'd zip on over to my fav Japanese place and finish them off. I know my habits have changed because I absolutely could not do it. I ordered the usual chicken…

Deit Devotion - Feb. 22
1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. David was driving everyone crazy. He seemed to breeze through his diet while everyone else struggled. At first, everyone assumed he was cheating on his diet, but when he began losing weight faster than everyone else, they gave up on that thought. It was…

Can't stop eatng!
I have lost 13 pounds so far in my weight loss efforts. But just this week, I have been eating so much and I can't stop. Am I purposely trying to sabotage myself? I don't know whats wrong with me. Has anyone else experienced something similar to this? I really don't want to gain back all the weight I've lost.

Hard day today
The day was going really well until the afternoon. I just caved and ate tons of stuff that I woun't really do. I'm stressed, I just had my second child and having two children in one house BOTH needing my undivided attention is just too much. I'm not getting any time for myself! I'm going to restart again tomorrow and keep…

Fearing the Scale.
Honestly, I haven't weighed myself in probably 4 months. I just am afraid of facing the number that's on there. How do all of you build up the courage to look down when you're standing on it? I realize that its important to know how much you weigh, but I'm just trying to see if I can notice a change before I step back on…

Sick...AGAIN!
Okay, so I was all excited to buy a smaller size pants this weekend, even if they are a little snug. I figured just two more weeks of doing what I do (calorie counting, working out, etc.) and they would fit just fine. Well, low and behold, I'm sick...AGAIN! This is the second time in 4 weeks that I've been sick and neither…

Another non scale success
So I was doing my yoga today and there were about 3 poses that I used to have to modify. Today I could do them completely! One of the reasons is because my belly fat isn't as big so it's not blocking my way of twisting and stuff  I have a much stronger core and I'm way more flexible! Just another step to being a…

It's Good to Be Back!!!
Ugh! I've been suffering from the stomach flu this past week, and needless to say, I've lost those few extra pounds I've been aiming for  But in all seriousness, I've been trying to replenish the nurtrients that I've lost in those few days, and my eating schedule is not quite back to what it was prior to being sick,…

Refocusing to rebound
Lets all face it, we wouldn't be here if we didn't have at least a little bit of a will power problem (most of us anyway, some have medical conditions, but many of us are just plain weak sometimes). I consider the last 6 months a big sucess for me, but it isn't without it's moments of doubt and failure along the way. I…

diet devotion - Feb 20
February 20 Psalm 37:5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Alice Layden was a woman with no self-control. As long as I knew her, she had been terribly overweight. I hadn't seen Alice for over two years when she showed up one day on my front door-step. She looked fabulous! When I…

Cold threw me off track, but I still recorded everything.
Hi MF pals, I had a 1 1/2 weeks were I was not on track, but I recorded everything and I am glad I did. This way I don't feel like I am totally off the routine. I am back to eating my allotment for the day and I am looking forward to that feeling I get when I am eating right and losing. I knew that there would be times…

On day 11 of my new life
I wonder if I'm trying to do to much at one time. I started this program on Feb. 8, started watching what I eat, trying to lose wieght, exercise 2 to 3 times a day and quit smoking all at the same time. I have been a little cabby and wondering if I should just do one at a time or if I can keep it going. What you all think,…

I have a healthy BMI!
I weighed 145.4 this morning, and for a 5'4" woman like me, that's just within the healthy BMI range! I haven't been at this weight for 8 years and even then it was only for a few months until I got pregnant with my third child. This time I'm keeping it up and heading down to the 130s for the first time since college.…

Revelation 3:21 'To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.'
