80lbs today!
Just wanted to share that I had set a goal of 80lbs by New Years. And am very very happy that I hit that mark this morning! I have only 50 more pounds until I reach my goal weight. And I was thinking that, for the first time in my life, I feel like I am in control of my body and how it looks, how it feels, and I feel…

NSV, but still pretty cool :)
Today was the day it all came to me... I have been bored, demotivated, and lacking a serious hobby. Just the same old stuff, day in, day out. Then I came to a realization. How much fun would it be to make fitness and cooking healthy recipes my new hobby? Wouldn't it be cool to pick up running again, try new weight…

Losing My Pants
For the last three weeks my size 36 pants don't fit right. The belt bunches up the waist and the cuffs bunch up around my shoes. I've been sporting quite the hobo look. Although I'm happy about the weigh loss and feeling great, I don't feel very confident with my loose fitting clothes. My dilemma is that I'm planning to…

What is a Calorie?
Calories are the little @#% that get into your wardrobe at night and sew your clothes tighter. MY CLOSET IS INFESTED WITH THE LITTLE *&%#@!!!

Onederland - yeah I made it :-)
I saw onederland 2 of the 50 times I jumped on the scale this past Saturday but ended up at 200 for my official weigh in. I jumped on tonight when I got home from work and I saw 199.2 and then jumped on again a bunch more times and it stayed at 198.6. I am officially in the 100s and I am not going back. Keep on track and…

Not Much, Just A New Best Time
I have bested my 5K running time yet again, but I improved my time by 1 minute 20 seconds in just a few days!!! My old time had been 35 minutes 30 seconds, then the other day, I beat it and got 34:55. This morning, I TOTALLY surprised myself by running 33:25!!!! That's about 11 minutes 8 seconds a mile. I couldn't believe…

Down 75 pounds finaly!!!!
My wife and I started in this whole weight loss process back in July. Both of us have been steadily losing weight until September when I drastically slowed down at about 68 pounds lost. While my wife has caught up and almost passed me with her steady (but slower) weight loss.In the last six weeks it has been ounces lost…

What is it easier for you to do...?
Since I've lost almost 45 pounds I find it easier to sleep, get up AND get dressed in the morning and even shave my legs. There are more but these are the things that I have really noticed lately. I'm curious what other people find easier to do since losing weight?

story for you.......LOL
Once upon a time I had a huge *kitten* and when I'd sit on my kitchen stool I was happy to just SOMEWHAT fit on it and I was also happy that the chair was sturdy enough to not break. As I type this story I am sitting on the same stool cross legged and I fit entirely on it. YES MY ENTIRE LOWER body comfortably fits on the…

Running and your Hips!
If anyone is thinking about running and unsure...DO IT! I've always wanted to run and that was my motivation to getting started. I was already at my goal weight so I can't share any fantastic loss in that department. But today I was curious and decided to redo my measurements. I couldn't believe it! In one month's time,…

Warning - funky pics! Almost in my 1st goal Item
I have a coat that I've never been able to wear. NEVER. I only have it because I had high hopes of someday fitting it. When I started myfitnesspal in September, I made the goal that I would be wearing it before winter was over. The first funky picture is when I put it on in September to see how far away I was from wearing…

OBESE
Today I am 22 pounds lighter than when I started on MFP and no longer considered "obese." Who knew one could be so happy being considered "overweight!" I am down 68 pounds from my all time heaviest weight (that I'm aware of) as well. The last 32 pounds or so seem completely do-able now :) I originally set my first goal as…

My Before and After
Well, I can confirm I am an expert on dieting, as I've tried millions of them!!! At my heaviest I was 188lbs. On 2nd November 2009, I decided enough was enough. Not sure how significant that date is, but that's when it started. My final weight loss mission. I had my 40th birthday looming on 2nd July 2010, and knew I…

OK I usually dislike this, but...
Today I wore a dress that I haven't fit into in a loong time. It's a business suit-shaped dress, ties at the waist, and I feel so confident and sexy in it. I also wore my new pinup style red heels with it... I was feeling great. When I got to work, a man stopped on the sidewalk and said, "Damn, you so sexy senorita!" Now I…

It's amazing what two weeks can do!
I still have a ways to, but I'm in for the long haul this time! I've basically been making sure to have a bigger calorie output than input, and burn at least 500 calories a day. I'm doing P90X ATM, along with military PT.

My progress (in inches and weight) according to my Crunch Gy
I originally had a horrible intro to the trainers at Crunch Gym but this year I was re-introduced to them and man...I feel in love with my trainer. (Not literally but she is amazing and gets me.) I wish I had the money to train with her all the time but I can only afford a session every month or so. Below are my changes in…

Making progress
My high is 230, no pics available from back then, and I started MFP at about 210, after losing about 10 pounds from March to June. The first pic is from May with my wife, about 215 pounds and the 2nd was a little over a week ago, at about 186 pounds. When i found that first picture on my camera it blew me away, i didn't…
