Is there a community group for Type 2 diabetics? I signed up today and the daily carbs is too high for me. Not sure how to adjust for that in the app/site.

Calories per serving
It appears to me that there are numerous discrepancies between the calorie information contained on package labels and what is presented in the mfp database. The differences are also apparent when transferring a recipe from the internet to the mfp database for use when keeping track of meals. Does anyone know if there is a…

How to track pre-prepped meals on my fitness pal?
So I thinking of paying for weekly meal preps that come already made and have the macros/calories on it, however I don't know how I would be able to accurately put down and track the calories/macros on my fitness-all without having to put down each ingredient one by one.

Frozen Meals?
So the weightloss clinic told me today that I should look into getting frozen meals for my weekly meal prep but I've always kind of been under the impression that they aren't all the good for you. Are there any good frozen meals that aren't super processed and are high protein, low fat, low sodium, low carb? I would also…

Struggling to eat more
Since February I have been losing weight. I have now lost the weight I wanted, and now I want to build more muscle. I eat around 1200 calories a day and I am full with that and struggle to eat more. I do 50 minutes of HIIT and 30 minutes of Pilates every day; on my rest day I do 30 minutes of Pilates. I think protein…

How to incorporate more veggies??
Hi all, I’m not a huge vegetable fan. I enjoy peas, corn, potatoes, lettuce, occasionally carrots, and that’s about it. Beans? If those are even a vegetable lol. I’m looking for some tips to incorporate more vegetables or make them taste better. For example the zucchini mini pizzas on Tik tok look delicious. I’m planning…

Low carb/keto..confused??
Everywhere I go I see keto or low carb. I have maintained my weight for years with calories in verse calories out. I will admit many of these keto products look tasty but the calories, wow! I feel like I might as well get a DQ blizzard for the amount of calories some keto ice creams have. Also I am at a loss for…

Raw vs cooked meat
When looking at calories for burgers, for example, are the calories in this app (and usually matching the FDA label) for a RAW piece of meat or a COOKED piece? Because I know meats, especially red meats lose calories after being cooked. Thank you!!!

Thoughts on noom?
Hi everyone! One of my biggest hurdles is that sometimes I don't hold myself accountable, so I was looking into trying out a program, and noom caught my eye. If you've tried it, what are your thoughts, positive and negative? Is there a different program that you'd recommend instead? Thanks! :)

Best vitamin D supplement?
In a world of a million brands, I'm looking for a good one. I have tried doing research and it looks like a lot of reviews are mixed. What supplement do you take? Have you had the chance to check your blood panel and see if your levels improved? I am currently deficient (I get a lot of sunlight and try to get it in my…

Clean plate club
I have a tendency to eat everything on my plate....even when I don't like the food that's on it. Example: I bought a cheesecake from a cute, trendy bakery near my home. This place was so CUTE and everything in the display cases looked absolutely scrumptious. The cheesecake was fairly large considering that it was meant to…

Optimal Vitamin D Amount
I was really surprised to be Vitamin D deficient since I have very pale skin and live in a sunny state. Pale skinned people are supposedly able to get all our Vit. D from 20 minutes or so in the sun. I'm now taking 50,000 IU per week! I think up to 4,000 IU is said to be okay without Dr.'s approval. I thought this was a…

Serving size for food
I think the biggest challenge for me is knowing the proper serving size for food. For example, I thought the proper serving size for fruit is one cup for fresh fruit. Today, I ate 1 cup of grapes, but when I entered the amount in MFP I got a warning that it was high in sugar. I decided to check on the internet the proper…

Hi folks :) I was wondering if anyone had tips on tracking homemade foods that mix ingredients?
