Eco-friendly or pre-packed fruit & veg in Covid?
Is it better to keep buying loose fruit & veg during the Covid lockdown, or does keeping healthy justify the purchase of plastic wrapped groceries?

Ideas for Brussels Sprouts
So, neither my husband nor I are big brussels sprouts fans. However, a miscommunication with Imperfect Foods lead to them sending us some brussels sprouts. My husband thinks we should just throw them away since neither of us particularly like them, but I HATE food waste. Anyone have a good recipe for Brussels sprouts for…

Iron supplement?
I know that this a medical question, but just wanting to hear others' opinion/thoughts on the matter. I notice that almost every day that I don't come close to hitting my iron intake for the day. I don't eat a lot of the foods that are high in them, except for spinach and other dark leafy greens and a very small amount of…

Accurate calorie amounts
As many of us know, the entries for foods logged into the “library” of items on MFP varies greatly with some foods. I usually bar code scan for accurate counts. But does anyone know a good site or source to find accurate counts on items that may not be able to be tracked in this way? I’m talking mainly about meats and…

Cut coca cola and caffiene
For years I drank an average of 6 cans of cherry coca cola a day. Full sugar. 149 calories a can. So that's 894 calories a day I cut out overnight. Kinda expected to lose weight this month just because of that. The only thing I've drank is flavoured water at 16cal a bottle and plain old tap water. I know it's calories in…

What are some basic food choices to get started?
I am new to this and want to be successful. I need a simple weekly plan to get started and get used to things before I delve into cooking recipes, etc. Do you have a "go to" week that will be lower in calories (1360 is my number), simple and yet I will see results with? Starting simple and building on success! Thank you!

Gluten Free Options
I have tried a ton of different GF breads. Canyon ranch and Schär are pretty good but, the best tasting thing I have found is Stop and Shop carries a brand called O’Doughs. I absolutely love their bagels and the slices of bread in one of their loaves is bigger than the teeny ones you get everywhere else. Good Luck 😎

Nutrition Stats in MFP Correct?
just started my premium membership today. First meal logged was very simple...one roma tomato and one small hass avocado. MFP reflects 12 net carbs for this meal which is not correct. Roma tomato has about 1.7 and the avocado has about 3 from all I have researched. Anyone else having issues with food stats being correct? I…

Balancing cooking for others with watching calories
My husband would eat pasta every day if he could. Or potatoes and meat. It’s what he likes, plus he says vegetables are hard on his digestive system. So far, I’ve just been measuring and eating a small portion of what he eats and then eating a lot of vegetables to go with it — like a small serving of baked rigatoni and a…

What not to do...
I workout a lot. I am hung up on calories way too much and I am seeing a sports nutritionist and a therapist to work on this. Recipes and Tracking
This might be a silly question but tonight I made some Blueberry Protein Waffles for meal prep and I’m a little confused on how to log it. Each waffle fits 1/4 of a cup which on the scale is approximately 44 grams raw batter. I kept this in mind so I could log it in accordingly depending how many waffles I eat at a time.…

Ezekiel Bread
Is this bread actually worth the expense? It sounds calorie dense. My niece eats it and doesn't really care for it that much(then why eat it is my thought). I came across a couple recipes for making it; sounds like too much work. :) Just wondering what people's thoughts are on the stuff?

So, on a whim, I bought latte flavoured protein powder. Buy one get one free, so I have two enormous bag of the stuff. Calories in Cooked Steak
Hello. I ordered an 11-oz steak from Outback. I know the steak loses weight after it is cooked. When I weighed it, it was 7.23-oz. Is this typical for a loss in weight when cooked? The nutrition information online says that an 11-oz steak is 390 calories. I know it depends on how it was cooked, how long it was cooked,…
