Keto for a beginner- please help
Hi 👋 I am starting the keto diet. Does anyone have any info or tips I should know about? Ive seen things online where it say you can have as much oil as you want. Is this true? Do most of you track the amount of oil you use? Do you try to stay under your daily calorie goal while on Keto? I feel like if you are using oil or…

How do you log Marinade?
How do you log marinade. When I marinade chicken for the week, i'll use the entire bottle. But obviously plenty of marinade is left over once I pull out the chicken dispose of it. Is there a tip to marinading chicken if its 15 calories a serving... how many servings probably get absorbed by the chicken breast.

Intuitive Eating vs. Tracking
I've been floundering lately and it's very frustrating. I'll track consistently for a couple of weeks, then decide I want to try eating intuitively for a bit. Then I'll go back to tracking and it goes back and forth. What are your thoughts on the two?

Latex allergy and diet
I'm curious how many of you with latex allergies have found they also have sensitivity to things like nightshades, bananas, and apples. I've been trying to eat less anti-inflammatory because of nerve pain and other health issues and just came across this. I haven't wanted to cut nightshades since I have tomato plants and…

What I mean is I am staying motivated, I am at the gym regularly putting in 1 and half hours of good workout, switching up what I am working out, very cardio conscious, etc... However my eating habits, while definitely improved still need help. I loved junk food for so…

How to not sabotage results with a cheat day
How often do y'all do a cheat day, and is it a cheat meal or whole day? I don't have a ton of wiggle room with my deficit since I'm only trying to lose 5-10 lbs. BUT I won't be able to continue the deficit if I don't have ice cream to look forward to sometimes!!! Curious how you successfully fit these kinds of things in.

Calories in cooked lentils vs raw
I've made lentil and bacon soup twice now and I realised I completely underestimated the calories the first time. The packet says 118 calories per 100g cooked. So does this mean that 100g of lentils which have soaked up the water provides 118 calories? I put my soup down as 250g/3 portions = 83g of lentils per portion and…

Why did MyFitnessPal raise my daily calorie limit?
So today MyFitnessPal changed my calorie limit from 1290 to 1500. I haven’t changed my weight, activity level, or goal weekly weight loss. I do get exercise calories every day, since I put my activity at not very active, as it motivates me to move more to gain more calories. I’m a little nervous about eating them all back,…
