Why you shouldn't drink water...
In all seriousness, I posted this just to remind some people of the bizarre logic jumps they make when posting about foods. Anything can be made to seem good or bad, just needs a little thought. EDIT Thanks for the smaller image!

However now I'd really like to start building up my muscle. So I've started eating a small caloric surplus. I'm totally new to bulking, and would love to add some people…

Musli / granola - about how much is 50g in cups?
I bought some musli to make my own trail mix and I would like to know the nutritional value. The box provides nutrition information for a 50 gram serving, but I am not sure how to approximate the serving size in cups. A food scale would be ideal, but unfortunately I don't have one at the moment. I could dump out the whole…

Anyone using Jillian Michaels protein powder?
I started using it and used it with water and that was ok. I also mixed a scoop with strawberry yogart and a kiwi and made myself a smoothie. I didn't taste much of the fruit, but that was ok. The powder is all natural. I have the triple chocolate one. I will keep experimenting with it. If any of you have used it or…

Meal timing question

Could "natural" sugars be keeping me overweight?
I don't eat processed foods or "fake" sugary foods anymore (cookies, boxed brownies, candy, etc.) but I've replaced those sugary things with natural sugars, like from fruit or maple syrup. I don't eat a lot of each per day (1 tablespoon of pure MS in my oatmeal, and usually 1 cup berries in a smoothie, sliced strawberries…

Calorie Help!
Ok, MFP puts me at 1560 net calories per day. My real question is...Does it hurt to eat as many calories per day as you want as long as you are exercising enough to burn off the excess? Energy required to break covalent bonds of DNA
For those of you who fear microwave radiation: The wavelength of light that is needed to damage DNA lies in the higher energy regions of the electromagnetic spectrum, the higher end of the Ultra-violet (10 x 10^-9 m to 400 x 10^-9 m), the X-Ray (0.01 x 10^-9 to 10 x 10^-9 m), or the Gamma (< 0.02 x 10^-9 m).
