Green coffee
Has anyone tried this? My health food store is making some pretty strong claims for it as a metabolism booster, which I am taking to be marketing based, but then I thought maybe it is a similar deal to green tea i.e. no miracle but a little boost to a healthy diet. Thanks in advance

People who lost lbs with 30day shred / - menu?
What did you eat? Can I look at your diary? I've tried this program before and lost 2 lbs, and 2 inches. So I know that the food I am eating is probably the culprit even though I cut out chips, cookies, soda, etc. So if anyone has lost 1-2 sizes or 8+ lbs. Could you respond to this post? Thanks.

Calories....
So I read that anorexia is partially defined as the desire to be lower than a healthy weight...I wonder what it's called if I want to be skinny and control my calories, but I'm not anorexic. I don't want to be 100lbs, but maybe 110-115, which works for my 5'2" build. I don't want to wither away to nothing, and I don't hate…

Soy Free Vegetarian
I'm really leaning towards less meats in my diet, and frankly am just find not having any meat. I'm pretty confident that I can eat a vegetarian diet quite successfully, however, I'm not wanting to use soy products. I know nuts, but they are high in fat, and bean but they are high in carbs. Are there some tips to a plant…

How long does it take...
When you start upping your calories before you start seeing the scale go down? I have been doing this for the first time this week, and I gotta be honest, I am getting a little nervous. It seems to just keep creeping up. I think this is why I fail. I see the numbers go up, get scared they won't come down again, and so I…

Don't understand the food goals...please explain
I'm a new myfitnesspal/bodymedia fit user, and I have both applications linked togerther. I use the bodymedia to record my calories burned and myfitnesspal for the food logging. Daily Calories During Pregnancy
In anticipation of future children, hopefully soon, I am wondering what is a realistic daily calorie goal for a pregnant woman -- 29, 5'3", medium-boned, endomorph, lightly active, currently 126-ish lbs. -- with a BMR in the low 1,200 range. My current daily calorie goal is around 1,300, with an estimated maintenance goal…

I am so confused about pasta
So my husband cooked 8 oz by weight of dry pasta and cooked it. After cooking, it came out to 22 oz. He divided it by 4 and gave us each a 4th of what was cooked, taking a little out for my youngest who is only 4 and won't eat that much. He gives me a bowl of pasta that is basically completely full and I do not see how…

If I gave you poisoned bacon, would you eat it?
This is completely different from the other bacon/poison threads because the bacon itself is not poison, it only has poison on it. So, if I gave you bacon that was poisoned, would you eat it? Remember, you can trust me. I'm a doctor on the Internet.

Taste is actually less important to me than…
