Eating Out DISASTER
My family and I went shopping earlier today and we decided to stop at Chili's for lunch. I felt sure that a salad would be a good choice so that I wouldn't completely blow my calorie intake for today. I ordered the grilled chicken caesar salad, and I was shocked when I checked the calories on here. I'm glad I didn't eat…

Hidden threats while eating out.
Not too long ago, King County (WA) made it a requirement for restaurants to post the nutritional information of their foods and make them available for customers who were eating there. At first I thought that it was a waste of resources and unnecessary. But now that I am more aware of what I eat, I wish that all…

Calculating calories & fat in homemade meals
Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone knows of an easy way to calculate the nutritional value of a meal prepared at home. A calculator where you can enter the amounts of everything you put in the dish then divide by number of portions would be ideal. Is there anything like this online anywhere? Thanks for you help Sarah
