encouragement?
So, I've been having a hard time eating junk food... I love it!! and I always promise myself that I will stop but then I end up eating like 5 cookies, two pieces of cake a bag full of cheetos... is there any advice of how to encourage ourselves to not eat that much junk food? like a reward system? any thoughts?

Water?
I know we are supposed to have about 8 glasses of water a day. But is that a big glass? little glass? 8 ounces? 16 ounces? I have been going by these 10 ounce cups we have here at work - but a co-worker told me it's supposed to be 16 ounces. That seems like an awful lot more water. Does anyone know? Thanks! :smile:

What is a good % of my food goals? I customize my goals (I can't survive on 1200 Cals, even with exercise....and lose weight). Besids my BMR is at 1559 so I wanted to be at least close to that. Day 3 of 50% raw food
i started a few days ago with a simple goal: Make 50% of my food (not 50% of my calories) come from raw foods, mostly vegetables and fruits. Already feeling cleaner, healthier, and having no problem staying near my daily calorie goal. Anyone want to do the same :) ?

turkey bacon??
I just started trying to eat healthy and I love bacon. I cant do the turkey bacon yet so I tried the Oscar Meyer Center cut because it looked like it has less calories than the turkey bacon for more slices. 3 slices is 60 calories and 4grams of fat, 1.5g sat fat. Am I being mislead by the label?
