Substitutions for heavy whipping cream?
I just put a recipe in and then almost passed out when I saw the calories. The main culprit seems to be the heavy whipping cream. It's a beef/pasta dish so the cream is part of the sauce. What do you guys think works best as a substitute?

How to calculate calories on homemade broth?
Hi, I just made a pot of homemade vegetable broth. I didn't blend in any of the veg and just strained them out. 300 calories worth of veggies and oil went in, plus water. After straining out all the veggies, I got 14 8-oz. servings. That's 21 calories per cup. I'm calling it 25 just to be round about it. Thoughts?

Noom vs MFP-any other Noomers on here with experience?

Calcium
Has anyone figured out how mfp calculates calcium? It seems to me that sometimes it uses mg, and other times it uses the percentage. For example, 1 cup of kale has about 100 mg of calcium, and mfp calculates that to be 100%. But for yogurt, it uses 15, which is the percentage and not the mg. Thanks for any help! Michelle

Nutrition Suggestions for Anemia with Fish and weird pickle allergies
Hello, I have (low iron deficiency) Anemia and I am also allergic to fish and pickles. Now, before I go on, I feel that must explain that I am not allergic to the cucumbers or anything else that goes into making the pickles, just the picking process (even the drs can’t explain it). And I can also have seafood (I think, I…

Total Fat - Misleading or Stumped
Hello from Austin, Tx, USA. New to MFP, healthy eater, and no nutrition expert. I find myself consistently going over my daily fat quota. Can't get enough fat
I know this is odd: How do I eat more fat. My diet suggests I need more fat and carbs but not more protein. I don't want to eat butter or candy bars to get more fat, because I still need to look for more healthy carbs. And so many healthy carbs come with more protein, which I don't need. Cottage cheese might work, but I…

Blendjet, like it? Hate it? Worth it?
I love the idea of a portable blender that is easy to clean, but at 40 bucks I'm pretty hesitant! I don't "need" a blender, but I feel like it would mix protein and MRP shakes better, and give me a few more options to add mixins like fruit or veggies. The ninja products are pretty good in general, but it's bigger, takes up…
