plateau'ed?
I have been losing weight consistently for about 2 - 2 1/2 months, this week and part of last i only showed a loss of .5 lbs, still running 4-5 times a week and a 1200-1700 calorie diet. Any ideas on breaking this hump should it continue? Thanks!

Plateau!!! UGH!
We'll I've hit my first plateau, I knew it was coming, but it always creeps up on you! I decided Im not going to repeat the same thing and expect different results (the definition of insanity), so I am going to change it up! I eat 1770 calories a day plus my workout calories and hit the elliptical 4 times a week (30-45…

Growing Stevia
I'm planning on growing a few Stevia plants in the garden this summer as an experiment. Does anyone have any idea how the actual leaves should be processed to add to tea (i.e. do I steep the tea with a leaf? Grind them up? Dry or fresh?) Can I dry the leaves at the end of the summer or will I experience only summer sweet…

Does a good week automatically mean a good loss?
What are your opinions on this? I have had a really good week, done loads of exercise and stuck to goal calories, but appear to have put on weight. Could this actually be my naughty week last week catching up with me? How long do you think it takes for calorie intake to get through to your scales??? I did seem to get away…

Oh no!
My office is such a contradiction. On the one hand we're having a weight loss competition and all participants (myself included) get a free gym membership for the duration. On the other hand, there is a cookie cake on its way here for another employee's birthday. ACK!

Hi to everyone on here, I'm fairly new to the site but was after some help. Using the tools on here I have worked out my daily calories should be around 1370. However using active.com I have worked out they should be 2010. Thats a massive difference so I was wondering what you guys think. I'm 5'10 and currently 153lbs and…

RMR
I know I've seen tons of people ask this question, and I've seen plenty of answers but nothing that seems concrete - so I'm asking again. Someone posted yesterday (and I'm sorry I can't remember who it was) but someone posted an article that stated that you had to consume at least your RMR calories each day to avoid your…

RMR Testing
I was just wondering if anyone had their RMR checked before starting their weight loss program? I am having mine done on Monday, but wanted to see if anyone else out there had it done and if so, did it help them become more successful with their program? Thanks for any input!

Question
Last night I overate. By a LOT. I'm not sure exactly how much, but by an estimate, it was probably around 1000 calories. Today, I have felt pretty nauseous. So far, I've consumed around 500 calories. Ugh. And I think I am done for the day. I have taken this week off from exercise, so I won't be working out. I was just…

Your best weight loss tip
What was the best weight loss tip you've learned over your weight loss journey? I know I've heard this over and over, but it finally sunk in that if I cheat on a diet I'm not cheating anyone but myself.

A question
ok so what i want to know is .......does it matter when you eat ? i always eat after 9 pm (my dinner) but many people are always saying things like i dont eat carbs after 5 or my last meal is at 7..... I recently read that this is a myth because you have a calorie budget per day so what difference does eating late make?

Carb, protien, fat ratio. What do you set yours at?
I've been looking at some stuff online and it seems there's a different mix for most people. I'm looking at changing mine on MFP mostly because the protien is just way to low for me to handle. I'm not a "wing it" kinda person if I'm tracking something  Anyway, just wondering what percentages you use if you've changed…

To those of you who have lost 100 + lbs

Question about exercise calories... not THAT question...
I eat my exercise calories and enjoy them very much. I've been really paying attention to my "daily allowances" of things though.... like sodium, carbs, protein, fat, etc. I have been very good lately at coming in under my sodium allowance, way over on fiber, over on protein, way under on fat, and usually hit right at or…
