You can do it.... I did.
Hey everyone, Just a short one from me as just found the forums today. 2 months ago I weighed 302lbs. Today I'm 42lbs lighter! I've got spinal issues so it's walking only for me and strict calorie controlled intake, as much as I don't see the weight loss, I can see it in numbers which knows I'm on the right track! So just…

Photos?
I don’t know if I can see a huge difference but this is my progress so far even though the scales say I’ve gained and even my body fat said I’ve gained 😳 show me your photos xx

Wedding excitement, the dress finally fits!
It’s been a long slow process to lose 39lbs since I bought a dress that was 3 sizes too small in January. One of those moments when it was that dress or nothing. The motivation to get into it has put me back on track when I’ve had a naughty week. Well 6 weeks until I get to wear it and if I lose any of the last 8lbs to…

Goal accomplished - You can do it too!
Starting weight: 181 Ending weight: 160 Height: 5'10" Duration: 7 months My weight crept up from 160 to 180 over 15 years. So, I went on my first diet ever. I weighed myself daily though some of us prefer to do it less frequently. Note the weight variation of 2 to 4 pounds on a day to day basis, even though I weighed…

79lbs Down, 5’6 Female, 30yo
Hi everyone! My husband and I have been on a weight loss journey the past 16 months. We have lost over 150lbs together (he’s down to 193 and I’m at 177). It’s been a tough road at times with motivation, stalls, getting back on the horse, etc. It definitely hasn’t been linear. I’m so glad we made this choice for ourselves…

Finally at my goal weight!!!
When I last weighed myself I was around 210 but reached a little more because I was embarrassed to get back on the scale. I started taking photos around my halfway point of 185ish and so glad I did because I love seeing the transformation! Now at 135 and loving how I feel!

Losing 40 pounds but looking the same?
Hello, I'm making a post on here because I have lost 40 pounds but yet I still look exactly the same as before. The only difference I can see is that my legs are slimmer, and when I told my friends, they could only tell my face 'thinned out' (?) a little bit. My parents can't tell at all. I still have at least 40 more…

In July 2017, I was too ashame to list my real weight
Back in July 2017 when I started logging, I couldn't bring myself to list my original weight. Looking back it was a disappointing time in my life when I saw the scale at 372. My current weight is 294. My 6-5 frame hides my weight, therefore, people are shocked when I tell them I still have another 50 + pound to lose.

My latest bulking and cutting journey.
So I've been doing bulking and cutting for the past 5 years. I have been always a lean person, never had an overweight problem like some have. It was still no fun for me, I would wake up every day and hate what I used to see, I would see a really skinny guy. I decided to make changes when I hit 30 years old and I am glad I…

50 pounds in less than 4 months!!
My name is Jamie and I began my journey to health on February 19, 2018. I am 39 years old and in February I was weighing 245 pounds. I am a husband and also a father of 3 children. I began using my fitness pal and joined our local YMCA so I could begin an exercise program. Several things sparked me to begin a healthy…

One year progress - Size 20 to 10
I'm still a work in progress, but since it's my "anniversary", I feel like I should celebrate how far I've come. One year ago, I decided I would not approach my 50s at over 200 lbs. At 5'4", I was 230 lbs. I was 46 years old and have two young daughters. I was prediabetic and had no energy. Something had to change. I…

I did it! Lost 45 Lbs
6 months ago I set out on my journey to take my life back. Diets are awful because they don't last. Intermittent fasting and excersise is something that's so easy for me to maintain. I'm not longer obese!

Down 54.3 lbs
I’ve lost 54.3 lbs and I’m down almost 6 sizes in a year and a half. I use this app everyday and it helps me be accountable. I’ve logged in for over 550 days. I didn’t think I could do it but if I can anyone can. I’m also 44 years old...age is just a number!

My 75 week transformation, shedding the dad bod!
75 weeks ago I made the decision to adapt a healthier lifestyle. I reached out to my trainer Mike Edgar at Original Physiques and asked for his help. Throughout the last 75 weeks Mike has given me the knowledge to control my mind and my body. I’ve gone through two cut phases and one lean bulk phase. I’ve managed to lose 50…

64 pounds down since January!
I have been wanting to make a MFP success story for over 5 years now. I am 5ft 1inch. I started at 247 pounds in January, I am now 183 pounds. I did a few dietbets and that is the only reason I even have pictures of my success, because I am always embarrassed to take photos. I eat 1500 calories daily, when I started I…

Going the distance
I decided to go for a walk after work. While walking I decided to go for a longer walk. Hmmmm. I wonder how far I can go? I was feeling pretty good, so I decided to go for my longest walk. 14 miles and 3 hours later I'm finally home. Sometimes we just need to go for it and live in the moment. (note to self: need apply this…

Was it hard to know where to stop and stopping?
After 18 months of changed eating habits , exercise and daily weigh ins I find it hard to say. I’m done. According to charts I have 11 pounds to go for normal BMI but co workers say I look scrawny. Doc agreed to a goal weight 10 lbs over the normal BMI weight. I know you never stop eating healthy and exercising and getting…

A tale of 2 bike rides - 5 years apart
2013, I set out on my first endurance event - a 53 mile tour around the city of Minneapolis with my dad. I weighed just north of 200 lbs, my highest weight ever. It took roughly 5 and a half hours, at a pace of 9.5 miles per hour. 2018, I completed my first half ironman length event last weekend, an aquabike (ie a…

Goal! 63 Pounds Lost (with pictures!)
Hello, MFP! Today, I have officially entered maintenance! I lost 63 pounds, going from 208 to 145. During this time, I found reading other people's success stories to be hugely inspiring and helpful, so forgive me if I go into overly-much detail below (feel free to scroll to the pics at the end!). I just want to give an…
