BMI down
I recalcuated my BMI yesterday and it is down a full 2 points. I was rather surprised because I figured I needed to drop at least 20. Now I believe my doctor who has said even 10 pounds down is a huge deal. Yeaaahhh me!! :bigsmile:

I just wanted to brag that I'm only 500mgs or whatever the unit is for sodium over - which is a small miracle for me Also for the first time, I am under 100 grams of sugar. First Week
Well this is my success story....I lost 3lbs my first week....and all I did is made more healthy choices and exercised three times.....I even went over my calories a few days...and I still lost weight...this is a big motivator for me!

I blew through 8 pounds already. I must admit I'm kind of shocked because I never much get this far. So much more to go, but still happy to lose a few. Does that make sense? Should I be happier? Or bracing myself? I'm not used to success weight wise. Let's keep our fingers crossed, yes?

Stayed under my Caleries for today
Since I began (1-7-09) this is the first day I was under caleries!!!! I'm so excited!!!! I have 20 more caleries I can eat, but I'm done for today. I had a huge plate of stir fry veggies and rice for dinner that filled me up, but didn't add up the caleries. :happy:

I only lost 1.5 pounds last week but....
I got back into my exercise routine after being a slug during the month of December and I feel soooooooooooo GREAT! It is amazing to me what exercise can do for your mental health as well as the rest of you. I vow that next December I will NOT use being busy as an excuse NOT to exercise. On that note I am off to the gym!

I'm finally starting to see the hard work pay off! I started on jan 3rd at 213 lbs and now on jan 12 I'm weighing in at 208lbs. Even with a few missteps and caloric casualties! Hopefully I'll stick with it long enough to reach my goal and form some new habits.
