Strength Training Question...
I do strength training 4X a week and I enter it under my "exercise" section. Does anyone know why it doesn't show how many calories are burned during strength training?

Is there any way to calculate calories burned WITH OUT a HRM
I have both Jillian Michaels Yoga Melt Down and 30 Day Shred. I was wondering if I could at least get a estimate of my calories burned with our going and getting a HRM.

Outdoor activity vs. traditional cardio training
I'm in South Georgia and the weather is great this weekend. I will be washing my truck, gathering limbs, working in the yard, etc. Should I still put in my 42 minutes of cardio on the glider? Will I have the energy for this? Am I looking for excuses to slack off?

exercise calories input
When you put exercise into mfp, does it work out the calories based on the other information you've given it: weight, height, etc? Or does it just have an average amount of calories for an exercise?

ive been doing mfp 4 weeks now and i think im doing really well lost 11lb i go swimming twice a week and i love it i just carnt be bothered to do any other exercise i think when i loose some more weight i might get more energy

Minutes and Calories Burned..
I just found out that for every minute that you exercise it accounts for 8 calories burned in the range of 150 pound person. I didnt know that. Im in that range so I added mine up and it came out to the right number. You learn something new everyday.. :) SusieQ

How hard is it to rollerblade?
I'm thinking of shopping around for a pair, but I'm hesitant. I can roller skate pretty well, but how different is it from rollerblading? There's a cul-de-sac the next block over, so I'll have a pretty good sized place to practice in until I get comfortable.
