So, I'm moving, today and tomorrow. Most of my stuff is in a storage unit 100mi away, but I do have some stuff here in town. This is what today's move is going to involve. I'll be going back and forth shuttling some general stuff for about 2 or 3 miles to my new apartment, unpacking it, lots of stairs will be involved.…

Question for those who use HRMs
My HRM consistently says my HR is in the 70s and 80s even though it's a whole lot higher than that. However, the calorie burned by the end of the workout is super high, like it's actually getting my correct HR but not displaying it right? I'm guessing it needs a battery change, but which would that be - the watch or the…

KILLER Elliptical Workout!!
Here is a workout my trainer gave me to intensify my workouts. Just to give you an idea, it took me 60 minutes to do and including cool down, I burned 845 calories, about 150 calories more than I normally would in the same amount of time. The elliptical resistance levels are based on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the…

Need Strength Training Ideas
I've been tracking my weight and exercising since February 2nd of 2010 and I've nearly lost 50 pounds. I am about 4-5 pounds shy of hitting the big 5-0, but I am still hoping I can hit 50 pounds lost in the year since I started. To lose these pounds, I've been 98% cardio for this entire year. I am a beast at the elliptical…

Four Questions About Working Out
1. Because of school starting plus work, I'm really limited on when I can work out. My school has a free gym, so I'd really like to use it. I'd mainly (probably only) be using a treadmill. I've been looking over my schedule and I think I'll have two days a week I can work out. MAYBE three, sometimes maybe only one.…
