Hey, I'm a bit of a night owl and often find myself working out late at night, after midnight when my food diary has already switched over to the next day. I usually just log it with the day before, since I generally consider my days to switch over when I go to bed, but does anyone have any advice on this either way?

Does anyone know why the eliptical trainer at the gym would say I burned 600 calories and my heart monitor said I only burned 344 calories. I got a treadmill 2 years ago and stop using it when I got preggo. I remember the selling person telling me that I had to use oil on it every 6 months but I can't figure out where to put the oil? Sorry if this is sort of a dumb question. I am on an 1800 calorie/day diet. When I run, should I eat the amount of calories I burn? Or should I keep my limit at 1800 for food regardless of exercise?
