A friend and I are going to walk our first half marathon this May! We are so excited and nervous. I'd like to run it but have issues with my knees, feet, hips, and back so we are going to start with walking it. I've found some information on training for it but most are for running. Any suggestions about getting started…

Power Yoga
Does anyone else do power yoga? I searched to see how many calories you burn doing this and for my weight it said 673 for an hour. This is intense so I believe it burns more calories than a type of yoga where you just do poses and it is slower. I was just curious how others track this if they do it. I haven't actually been…

Heart Rate during workouts
What is your average heart rate during workouts? Mine is usually 145ish. I'd like to bump it up a little more to 155ish, but I don't want to be running around like a crazy woman. I'm about 141 pounds and was moving pretty quickly keeping the average at 145. Just curious what everyone else's is (if you have a HRM).

Marathon Runner Training Question
Do any of you substitute hiking into your workouts when the weather is too bad to run? I hate the treadmill, I live outside of town and during times of moderate snowfall, the sides of the road aren’t runner friendly. BUT I have access to woods that I can hike endlessly. I’m thinking a fast paced 2 hour hike, in boots, thru…

Weights and Calories?
I don't know if I am doing something wrong, but when I log my weight lifting, it does not list how many calories I have burned. It also does not take that time into account when calculating my weekly exercise minutes. Are these options not possible or am I doing something wrong? Any thoughts? Thank you!

Rest Day - YUCK!
Ok... so I am a gym junkie. I LOVE my daily workout. I lift weights for about 1.5 - 2 hours a day (up to 2.5 hours on a weekend day if the weather is crappy). I also walk for my cardio (4mph min. for 5 miles min). I generally lift 4-5 days a week and walk 3-4. Which means I sometimes do both walking and lifting on the same…
