Not Hungry?
Hey everyone. What do you do when you have no appetite? I found out some bad news last night and I literally have no appetite. Typically, I would be a stress-binge eater... But now, nothing is appealing to me. I've been trying to figure out what I can have for lunch, but I just don't want anything. Do you just make…

Are calories more important than what you actually eat?
So, my calorie goal each day is 1250. I'm wondering if i have to cut back on carbs and fat and eat more protein, veggies, fruits, etc. or can I eat whatever I want as long as I don't go over my calorie limit. With exercise of course. Thanks!

Not sure how many carbs to have with lunch?
I normally eat sweet potato as my carb with lunch. But, I can't figure how many ounces are in a serving? I eat it with 4oz of protein & 1 cup of green veggies. If it helps I'm 5'3 118 pounds & I'm trying to lose about 5 pounds. I have my macros set to 35% Carbs, 45% protein & 20% fat.

Any Sodium Reduction Tips
I'm still fairly new to both MFP and logging my food intake but one thing that has really jumped out at me since I have been doing this is that my sodium intake is higher than it should be. Even after making a concerted effort to cut down on sodium, I still find it very difficult to keep it under the recommended daily…

Which Anti-Anxiety/Depressant Does NOT Cause Weight Gain?
When I was 19 (now 22), I was put on Celexa and, in a short amount of time, gained 30 pounds (which I've now lost 25 of!!). I went off of it about a year and a half ago, but now I'm thinking I need to go back on some kind of medication, possibly a mood stabilizer. What anti-depressants/anxiety medications do NOT have…

Adding recipe to MFP
I want to add a recipe for meatloaf that I have. My question is that the recipe calls for 3lbs of ground beef. (It serves 8-10) Should I use the uncooked or try and figure out how much it weighs after cooked? And if I should use the cooked weight, how do I figure that out?

Do you still like your favorite food?
I'm sure we have all heard it time and time again and while I believed it to some extent I did not expect it to go this far. Any suggestions to make logging food less frustrating?
Does anyone else find it frustrating to log food? Maybe frustrating isn't 100% the right word...but the frustration comes from the fact that it is really time consuming! Sure, if I was eating frozen pizza or Stouffer's dishes every night it would be easy - but that's not healthy food! In order to log healthy food, you have…

Calculating TDEE - Would this work?
Hey everyone - here's the question: Since TDEE includes your exercise calories, would this make sense - Could I calculate my TDEE at what it would be if I didn't exercise at all during the day, and used that TDEE minus 20% as my baseline calorie goal for MFP? The way I figure, then I should be safe to log/eat back (most)…

Measuring food... Weight VS Volume
Alright, so I've been measuring my food diligently for a while, and this morning I happened to look at the back of the cereal box.
