Growing My Own Food (pictures)
Since a couple of people asked me if I really did this, I thought I'd post a picture.... I saw a video, compliments of another poster about a woman who grew her own organic garden and how awesome she looked for being 70 years old. I thought about it and realized I didn't want to plant anything permanent in my actual yard…

Possible Fish Oils?
Good morning, I've been considering adding a fish oil to my diet. However, I'm not sure if this is my decision, or the vitamin lady at my local GNC pressuring me to buy everything. Currently I take a Active Women's multi vitamin, about 30 mins after my thyroid meds (hypoactive). When picking up my bottle the other day, the…

Overnight Oats?
I tried making some overnight oats last night and they failed! I think there was too much milk because they were still really watery this morning. Food Scale
Do you use one? Which ones are the better ones? I guess my meat most of the time. Also, I am guessing that the calorie counter here counts the meat before being cooked (as is required for restaurants and such)? I think that I will need to start doing this as soon as I can afford a scale. I wish to be as accurate as…

Too low carb?
I understand that everybody's body is built differently and has different needs, and I was wondering if maybe my lack of whole grains is contributing to my constant sugar cravings. I have eliminated grains because they upset my stomach on occasion (gluten sensitive), but was wondering if maybe I should incorporate more…

Are sugar free items that bad for you?
I keep hearing that sugar free products are harmful. Will they hurt your progress as far as losing weight & being in shape? I heard that they can cause bloating sometimes. Vegan protein powder - Any recommendations?
I am looking for a Vegan protein powder that doesn't have any sweetener or stevia in it because I just cannot stand that artificial taste. I would prefer unflavoured because I would like to add my won flavours to it and pimp it up. I would also probably get bored of a whole tub of one flavour. Does anyone have any…

Any Kangaroo eaters?
I was curious to know if those outside of Australia have Roo meat available to them at all, and if so do you use it? I buy it very regularly. It's tasty, very lean and has a great protein count. It's also quite affordable here. I imagine being an imported meat elsewhere it would be more expensive.

The truth about dieting...
So I've been struggling with weight loss for a long time, and I found a plan that works. It's not a miracle diet, it's just common sense. Tired of all the "real dieters"
I'm so tired of seeing people on MFP talking about how they are trying really hard to lose weight "HEALTHILY" or they are so tired of yoyo dieting but then you look at their diaries and you see: A) they're eating 1200 (or fewer) calories and working out intensely B) eating rabbit food everyday and then complaining that…
