sweeteners
Anyone else start to develop intolerance for artificial sweeteners? I struggle w/ diet pops, fat free yogurts, coffee w/ anything but black or real sugar. I never used to - but have increasing reactions to them. I ate a fat free Yoplait and was so hungry I finished it but now I have a headache and it makes my stomach empty…

Post Breakfast Hunger
I know I'll probably get blasted for this - but I'm thinking I need to cut breakfast out and start eating later in the day. Up until a few weeks ago I was NEVER a breakfast eater. I'd typically have my first dose of food between 11am & noon and things were going really well as far as hunger. A few weeks ago I fell into the…

Ladies with PCOS-cal intake?
Hi! I recently got diagnosed with PCOS and am on a lower carb/complex carb only diet (or combining with fats, etc). The first week, I dropped 4 pounds of what likely was water weight, and now I haven't gone anywhere (albeit I've been eating a little more carbs than I was then..but I could NOT sustain that without going…

Mike's Daily Rant 10/17/2012 McDonalds MilkShake Melee
Here we go again! I really don't understand McDonalds! Don't get me wrong, I love McDonalds but they do things that I can't stand! Negative Calorie Foods
Hi all, Read this at livestrong.com and thought I'd share it with the MFP community. It's a list of veggies and fruits that are considered "negative calorie foods" because they contain less calories than what needed to digest them. This is just for reference and if you want to you can add these to your diet, but don't base…

Raising egg laying hens
First, let me say I'm not a farm girl. I live smack in the middle of a big city, but I know there are people in my part of town who have chickens in their back yards. We've been talking about getting just 2 egg laying hens, but we have really no idea what's involved in caring for chickens. We're envisioning something like…

What you 'should' be eating...
I took my food diary off because someone criticised what I was eating. Today I've had a big breakfast but I don't care because I've burned more with the run I had before I ate it. Every time I've dieted I've got bored because rice cakes with lettuce are BORING!! The whole point of me going through this is yes, to learn…

Biggest food sacrifices?
To those who have lost weight so far... Was there a point in your progress where you knew you had to COMPLETELY get rid of a particular food that was hindering your weight loss?
