Hey there ladies and gents. I was just wondering if diabetics are okay going by the sugar goals listed on here or if you lower the amount listed? I am not insulin dependent and I am type two when using prednisone...which I am right now. Ideas? Wisdom? Coments? Personal experiences?

Guesstimating calories
What do you do when somebody else makes the meal, and you don't know exactly what went into it? Yesterday my son made dinner for everybody (a macaroni, cheese, beef casserole), and I could only take a guess as to what went into it. I entered what is in the parentheses in the food search and took the first thing that came…

The "Diet Soda Will Kill You" Conspiracy
Okay, I'm going to preface this post by saying: Diet soda is not "healthy". It is not good to chug 60 oz of Diet Coke every day. Now there will be no way for anyone to say I'm advocating that diet pop is good for you. I have no problem with people choosing not to drink diet pop. What has irked me on this site is people…

At the end of my days, very often, I'm way over on protein. Is that terribly detrimental if I'm still good on calories and everything else? I thought it's probably better to be over on protein than carbs or fat. Is this true?

Confused about MFPs Calorie Calculations
When you originally work out how many Calories you need to maintain your weight, you put in how active you are, so it takes that in to account. But then when you work out and log the workout it takes them into account again, so surely your eating the work out calories twice? I haven't explained that very well lol.…

While letting my chickens out this morning, I spotted this beauty! Don't see it? Check out the bottom right corner, under the nest box. Bam! Hey all! So i'm in training to do a 100k walk next may for charity. Part of that is looking at my nutrition.
