I was watching the news and see that a study was done on the Mediterranean diet and that people were able to stick to it longer and keep the weight off better. What are your thoughts? So, I'm a woman, 5 foot 8 and I have around 60 pounds to lose. I have my 1200 calories a day, and I do (according to my heart rate monitor) around 900 calories of exercise daily. So, I am going on an 11 hour trip as a chaperone. No fridge, microwave or coolers. Must carry everything through the city streets and in and out of historic sites, so must be light and portable.
