100+ pounds to lose
I find it baffling that I need to lose this much. I remember being in school when I was a kid and there was this one day in Gym class where everyone lined up to weigh ourselves (with everyone looking on) and I was the heaviest kid in the class. I weighed 89 pounds! But really, at most I was 5 lbs overweight. Unfortunately,…

New Cookware
So I went on a little splurge at a Pampered Chef party and bought myself a whole new bunch of stoneware: pie pan, pizza stone, bunt cake pan, muffin pan, and little casserole dishes. I made a pie on a stone sheet pan and it came out incredible, but obviously that would be a diet no no. The little dishes I can make small…

Guess how many calories my SMALL blizzard had?
My daughter had day surgery today, and as a treat, we went to dairy queen. A small cookie dough blizzard has over 700 calories. I didn't know they could pack that many calories into that small cup. It was all kinds of good, but I don't know if it was 720 calories worth of good. :noway:

Less Than 1200 / Day?
Hey guys, quick question. So I've been reading lots of stuff online and doing all sorts of calculations, and I realized that my resting metabolic rate is less than 1700 cal/day, which means that, at 1200 cal/day I'm not at a 500 cal deficit. I know that MFP won't set your cals lower than 1200 because that could put your…

Are caffeine pills safe?
I drink a lot of coffee, probably a bit too much because my body seems to tolerate it and now it doesn't give me the mental kick it used to. I was wondering if caffeine pills would be more potent, and safe within proper dosage? Does anyone here use them? Thanks in advance
