Fat for lunch
Hi had a protein drink for breakfast, and a crunchy peanut butter clif bar for a snack, which is surprisingly high in carbs. What can I have for lunch with no carbs, high in fat, and low protein? Suggestions are welcomed.

Should I lower calories?
I’ve got 25 lbs to goal weight. My stats are: F 26 5’ 4” and 157lbs. Tdee is 2250 with 5 days of exercise a week. My weekly average is 1750x7= 12250. I admit I do go over my weekly calories by a few hundred. I’m just not very consistent with my 500 calorie deficit. Some times it’s a 500, 400, 300-200 calorie deficit.…

MyFitnessPal's calorie/exercise
Do I really use 90 calories walking 20 minutes at 2 mph? Seems like that's a lot of calories for that amount of time walking slowly!

THIGH DIMPLES!
The stronger I get, the less I care about thigh dimples. These thighs can squat 265 lbs and deadlift 385 lbs. I'm rocking these dimples. ;) What body part are you loving more and more?

Weightlifting with possible DCM
Hi everyone There is an outside chance that I have familial dilated cardiomyopathy (seeing cardiologist in January). My doctor told me I could workout as normal but to stop if I felt dizzy. But DCM can hit suddenly. Does anyone here have experience with DCM and if so, how has it effected your exercise habits?

What to do about different weight on a new scale.
Well my scale died and went out and bought a new one. The problem is this one has me weighing 9 lbs more not sure if it is the new scale or Thanksgiving dinner. In any event should I take the new weight and enter it on the day I weigh in. Is it possible my old scale (which) is digital too could be that far off or is it the…

Why is it that...
...I've been steadily losing lb a week (currently 5'7 @ 147lb) for a while sticking to around 1500 net calories, but this week, when I felt winter closing in and couldn't turn off The Munchies (averaging 1650 net cals a day), I lost 2lb? Serious question, I'm happy, but puzzled. I also know that I shouldn't be losing that…

Can’t lose weight unless I starve myself??
Since July I’ve been on a very low cal diet to lose weight (sometimes eating as little as 100 calories a day, but usually around 800 or so) and I’ve lost 40 pounds. I’ve tried eating around 1,200 calories but I gain weight, even before I dropped to <1,000 calories. Starving myself has left me mentally drained and I fear…

CO2 Meat??
I don't know if it's a debate or not, but find this fascinating. They are now taking CO2 and, with the help of microorganisms, creating protein as a byproduct -- accomplishing two things -- finding a use for CO2 and providing protein with a more sustainable footprint. I'd try it if you don't have to add so many things to…

30,000 calories in one day!
I’m in the maintenance phase but I’ll admit I wasn’t super diligent for Thanksgiving. For the most part I’ve still been healthy, within my limit, and doing the same at the gym. I keep constant tabs on my weight as well. On Thanksgiving morning I woke up 153 which is within my acceptable range. All in all for the day, I…

Intermitent Fasting and eating your daily calories
Hey guys and gals, I've been doing intermittent fasting for about 4 months now along with tracking my calories. I've had mild success, but not as much as other people(I lose about half a pound a week) one of things I've been doing that I'm not sure about is hitting my daily calorie goal. I try to do it, but I find myself…

Favorite low-cal “carrier” foods?
Carrier foods - as in chips, crackers, bread, etc. Things that aren’t the focal point of the meal/snack, just used as support of whatever food you are truly wanting to eat but isn’t as appetizing on it’s own. ETA: more clarification - foods that sometimes quite literally “carry” the food to your mouth. I like port wine…

Oatmeal: friend or foe?
I’m on a mission to lose weight and lower my A1C. Working on all the numbers, really. With a cold season already here, oatmeal sticks to the ribs, and warms me, fills me. I make it with almond milk and a dash of vanilla and cinnamon. Now , I see this You Tube guy saying I’m better off eating poison!! My A1C is a 6.1, and I…

Non-Dieting Dropout
So, I’m done with the non-dieting culture and back into the dieting culture. Must lose this weight now. What do you all do when you start out again? Do you go straight to 1200 or whatever your losing calories are or do you start higher and go down a week at a time. I’m thinking going straight to 1200 is going to make this…

Coffee question
Hi, this is a question from a coffee noob. After using a coffee pod for a cup of coffee, are we suppose to throw it away right after or how many cups more can we brew before throwing it away. The reason I ask is because it feels like a waste when I see more coffee powder stuff left. Also, is coffee healthy for dieting?

Always feeling hungry and rapid weight gain
I started myfitnesspal at the end of July and since that time I have lost 43 pounds! I started at 280 pounds, was allowed around 2000 calories a day to lose an average of 2 pounds a week. I decided I would try to keep my calories below 1,500 a day in order to carry a deficit, and that has seemed to work great. However, I…
