Hello all. I think I pretty much know the answer to my question and am likely just here for reassurance. 12 days ago I registered my lowest weight in a while (166.8). This made sense as I was steadily trending down. This was 2 days after my cycle ended. With all of that being said I have hoovered at 170 ever since. In…

a way to track fruits and veggie intake per day?
Hi everyone! I love MFP so much, best food database and iphone app out there. The only thing I wish is that they had a way to track certain things like servings of fruits and veggies per day as sometimes I need a friendly reminder to track things like this (this is what I liked about Weight watchers but I would rather do…

How to estimate calories burned during weight lifting?
I've read that HRM's are not very good at tracking calorie burn when doing weights. I don't have a BodyFit or Bodybugg type of monitor. Are there ways to get reasonable calorie burn estimates when lifting? It's a cloudy area in my daily tracking. I found this site which lists a bazillion sports including weightlifting…

Weightloss and muscle gain

Looking for some guidance as I really have no idea where to go from here... and the info out there on the intwerwebs is overwhelming. Weight Loss
Hiya, I’m just looking for advice and wondered if anyone was having a similar experience. I have been exercising consistently for about 7 months now with a good diet as well. I’m in a calorie deficit pretty much all the time. May have a cheat day once in a while but very rarely. I haven’t shifted any weight. My clothes…

Progress Graph
Hi guys! I'm sorry if this topic doesn't belong here - I'm pretty new to MFP and still working out the kinks. So, my trouble at the moment deals with the progress graph on my profile. When I open it up, it's not scaled properly to the window. What I mean is, the top of the graph is towards my current weight, but the bottom…

Weight lifting logging question
How do you figure calories associated with exercise. Example 3 sets of 10 bench presses or curling. Does the amount of weight increase calories? Is the time lifting?

Back with belly concerns
I posted a while back wondering how much more I needed to lose given my belly is still big despite being at a decent weight. I decided to lose a few more pounds. I’m currently at 125lbs / 57kg (female, 5’ 5” / 165cm) and willing to go to 120 but kind of nervous about going under that. I’m definitely not looking to overdo…

Losing weight with atrial fibrillation
Hi, I am hoping there is someone else out there like me. I am 27 years old with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (I have "episodes" instead of having it constantly). I am on beta blockers to stop my heart rate rising too high and setting it off. I have been advised by my GP to take exercise slowly and take gentle exercise…

Linking to apple health
I use BOD, FitOn, apple health and MFP. I have all the settings set so that apple health reads and writes data from and to BOD, FitOn and MFP. But nothing ever syncs. Anyone else have such an issue? If so, any suggestions on how to resolve? Thank you

Where does “slow down as you approach your target weight” come from?
Quite often here, posters advise others to halve their weekly weight loss target when they get within 10 pounds of their ultimate goal weight. What is the source of this advice? Does it have any scientific basis? What happens if you don’t follow this advice?

Jump Start
I know diet and exercise is number one for healthy weight loss. Has anyone taken an over the counter weight loss for 30 days just to get a jump start? If so, I’m interested if anything was worth the purchase. Thank you!

Haven’t dropped a pound in 2 weeks?

Has anybody used TDEE...
... to work out how many calories your body needs, then deducted 20% for weight loss? I'm just using mpf to track calories and not eating back any calories... I hope this is right! Thanks

Remembering to weigh myself

Would not trade Ozempic For Anything
I started in March and am down 20#, but am doing Factor meals and little snacking. I have never felt as good as I do now, and to see a number on the scale below 275 made me cry. If I have to go to Canada to get it I will, but Medicare covers most of it 9 months out of the year. My blood sugars have never been better and I…

Pre diabetic - recommend protein powder
