Peeing
Does peeing help you lose weight? I drink a ton of water, and therefore pee every 5 minutes. Is it actually peeing or the drinking of water that makes you lose weight? I know that the body is supposed to get used to drinking a lot of water...but its been over a year and I still pee every 5 minutes. It's getting annoying.…

Weekend WAHOOOOOOOOS!
Ok--every Monday people come on MFP and post about how "bad" they were over the weekend. I know people are usually off on the weekends, but I don't understand why it becomes an occasion to blow all your hard work through the week. Just me, guys, and just my opinion. But I see it every Monday and some of y'all spent all day…

what is the craziest diet you have heard of?
or diet pill.......... mine would be the calorie blocking pill and *no offense to those who are doing this, this is just my point of view* but the low carb diet, aka atkins diet. the way i see it is you can eat anything you want, just in moderation. you shouldn't have to make yourself suffer to lose weight. i also noticed…

Anyone understand GFR or protein/creatinine spillage rates?
I have been trying to understand my test results by googling things...and if I'm understanding google correctly...I think my GFR is a bit low? It's 74 cc/minute/1.7 meter squared. (would be nice if the doctor actually explained what the hell that meant. :grumble: ) And my urine protein/creatinine ratio estimated a spillage…

Question about donating blood
I'm going to a blood drive on tuesday, and I have a question: Does a person need more calories after donating blood? I ask this partly because I wanna know, and partly because I really hate the whole blood giving process but getting to eat more would kinda make it worth it(I'll donate either way though!) But…

What do you all know about the--
"stress hormone?" I'm searching my memory banks and seem to remember "cortisol" or something, which is known as the stress hormone. My memory says it is released in larger doses during stress, and is responsible for "belly fat." Before I embarked on this weight journey, my belly fat had simply gotten unbearable. Yes, I've…
