Equal Gold
Im currently using Lakanto….it's a blend of (mostly) erythritol and monk fruit extract. Like the taste a lot compared to stevia which always has a chemical vibe for me. But Lakanto is pricey in the long run. Came across Equal Gold which is composed of erythritol and sucralose….just wondering if anyone has tried this and if…

Protein Popcorn
I'm a big fan of ICON's protein popcorn (yuuum). MyProtein recently started reselling it as well, and someone in a facebook ad posted this recipe in the comments. I haven't tried it yet but it sounds like the coconut oil might do a good job of recreating that thick candy like coating of the ICON meal's version. When I try…

What is your simplest, quick, easy meal?
Hi all! I am new to cooking (my mother rarely cooked growing up, then roommates in college and previous mates did most of the cooking) and I am looking for low-fuss meal recipes. No fancy ingredients or special kitchen gadgets please. =) Stuff that is readily available at standard grocery chains would be ideal. Thanks so…

Lower calorie spanakopita (lower calorie way to deal with filo sheets)
Most recipes for using filo sheets for spanakopita involve melting whole sticks of butter or pouring on olive oil with reckless abandon. Since fat is calorie dense, I've come up with a way to make spanakopita using only 1/4 to 1/3 cup of olive oil for a whole pan of the stuff using an entire sleeve of frozen filo sheets.…

What to make with golden flax meal?
So a while back, I bought a lot of golden flax meal in bulk because it was cheaper and I was using it for these really good low carb breakfast muffins. Hi everyone! Breakfast is SO difficult for me, I usually skip it. I'm looking for ideas that do not involve eggs (I'm allergic) and oatmeal, I hate that stuff! I ate a banana and yogurt this morning but now at 9:20 am I'm hungry so I'd like something more filling. Thank you in advance!
