This is why I LOVE this site
Today I started off good with my Go Lean cereal but then I went to an event and had 6 cream puffs, 6 keebler fudge striped cookies, an unidentified but very tasty puff pastry with a chocolate/nutty filling, and washed it down with two glasses of lemonade. Oh, and for the rest of my lunch I had two deviled eggs...:ohwell:…

#2 - That Works For Me!
Can I brag a little bit? My Y is joined with FitLinxx so we accumulate points for all the exercise we log at the gym. I was playing around with the "standings" and when I narrow it down to females in my age group (40-49 years old) I'm #2 in my entire YMCA. Two pounds to go and now I'm really on the upswing!

A size 4? Really?
Yesterday, I was running out the door to get my son at nursery school. I pulled the first pair of jeans that I saw out of my drawer. I had forgotten that drawer was my "wish I could get in this" drawer. :grumble: It wasn't until I was getting ready for bed that I recognized that these jeans were a size four.:noway: Now…

zipped up!
A few days ago I put on my size 12 work slacks and when zipping them up, I was surprised! They didn't snag half way up, but instead the zipper went smoothly to the top! I was so shocked I checked to see if the zipper had torn or was broken! I know I won't ever fit a size 10 ( My dr. says I have good childbearing…

I did it! I can't believe I really did it!
So I started this year with the goal of running my first ever 5K at the end of June. I wanted to finish in under 30 minutes. I had tried running a few times before, but never really got very far. And to be honest, a part of me fully expected myself to quit by the end of March. And another part expected that even if I kept…

I have such a love of chocolate and just before Easter I stocked up on the Cadbury mini eggs (the pastel coloured melt in your mouth morsels) because I knew that once Easter was over I would not be able to find them. I put them in the freezer so that when I do have some, they take longer to eat because they are frozen.…

Finally learned how to stop the "phatom fat" GO SHOPPING!
I have been having a hard time adjusting to the new me. It's like I dont think I deserve to be skinnier or something so I have been walking around in my larger clothes since I lost the weight. Finally someone said something about how sloppy my clothes looked, and I thought...me??? sloppy? I've always dressed nice..and then…
