I'm pretty pleased with myself and my progress this month. I've dropped 14 pounds but maintained my muscle, as my percentage of muscle mass went up a bit. I've gotten stronger and I've been at 12-1500 calories a day with proper portion control for 27 days. Today I went to my new gym again and had a ball. My protein and…

Does anyone else have certain moments and imagies in their head from when they were heavy that were either embarrassing or painful? After losing 73 pounds or so, having just 12 more to go I think back to certain embarrassing or painful moments I had as a heavy person. I think back to the jeans I used to wear, something…

My First 4 Weeks
Today marks the end of week four. Every day I have been very close to burning 2,000 calories and eating 1,500 calories. This should have given me a 1lb/week loss, but I have actually lost 1.45lbs/week. I'm more than happy with the results so far.

What a year 2019 was for me.
I made significant lifestyle changes. I eliminated: gluten, soy, Canola oil, dairy (except 2 eggs per week), refined sugar. Stopping gluten was hard; it was also key to my success. I added: probiotics . . . live active cultures, at least daily sometimes twice daily. To replace gluten, I now use amaranth, buckwheat, corn,…
