When did someone first notice?
Eventually someone will ask, “Did you lose weight?” For some, this is a cringe worthy moment. For others, it’s a validation. How much did you lose before someone took notice? “OMG! You look GREAT!” How long did you have to work at it to get that first “WOW!” moment?

189 pounds down

Original goal achieved! (6 stone 9 months)
Just achieved my original goal of losing 6 stone! Took me 9 months of daily long walks and “cleaner” eating. I’m still not totally happy with where I’m at and want to lose another stone and gain more muscle. For the first time ever, my BMI is in the healthy section!😁👍

Small but Meaningful Success
I've struggled with being overweight my entire life and this past year hit my highest weight (250lbs/5'8"). I have a lot of anxiety and mental health issues so have always used food to cope. I've developed a binging disorder and due to moodswings that lead to impulsive eating, I have always had a hard time…

Well on the way
So I started my weight loss journey at the end of July, a bit coincidentally. No grand decision to turn my health around or anything. I saw an add for Noom, thought it looked interesting, tried that for a few weeks but didn't like it. And then ended up here at MFP while looking for an alternative. Over 200 days later and…

10 month progress update

Heartbreak also led to 14 lb loss
I lost 14lbs in less than a month when my heart got broken and my life turned upside down. I joke that at least I’ll look good. But truth is I want to continue but lack motivation. My emotions get in the way of me running with this. I could use some tips and or your experience on how to take this heartache and turn it into…

Progress update
Hi everyone. Just thought I’d post with my update. After years of battling with my weight & yo-yo diets I joined a gym in April 2019 and it’s been the best thing I’ve done. It’s semi private so there’s a max of six of us in any one class. So there’s no slacking. It’s helped me with not only my weight and health but my…

Progress pic -
Hey. My name is Rahim. This is a little background about me. I used to be really slim when I was 14-19. As the years passed I gained weight during my longest relationship. Went out a lot, was encouraged to eat more and I started to like food lol. I'm 26 now and in 2018/2019 I almost got to 210 lbs. I was going out more…

Met that goal!
This morning I weighed in at my long term weight loss goal. 13 months of hard slog and I am 18kgs lighter and looking great. The last few kgs were the hardest. I had to let go a little, trust my body, be kind to myself and let a few more calories in. And then it just clicked into place!

20 Pounds!
205 this morning, down 20 pounds since mid-December. Haven't been this light in about four years. Considering putting a seat belt on my chair so I don't float away. 😜

looking forward to 10 years straight....3646 down...4 days to go
i dont post too often, and am not friends with a bunch of people. But I have been with this program for many moons. It, to me, is the best way to track what you eat and balance your day. While i have gained and lost throughout the years, i for the most part, have maintained a decent weight range.

5'2 women what are your measurements?
I'm 5'2, around 138-141 pounds and my measurements are 33-25-37(or 38). My navel measurement is 29. I haven't seen too many girls around my weight/height have my measurements so I wonder if anyone's close

Walking in the weather
Thursday was torrential downpour. People actively moved to splash me as they drove down the road. Today it started to snow when I was 2 miles from home. Luckily no accoumulation before I got home because the doofuses who splashed me on Thursday probably should have skidded off the road and hit me today.

Loosing weight
I lost 5.5 kg and my body fat decreased by 10% all of this in 1 month and maintained my muscle mass

150 pounds gone in 15 months
Under a doctor's care, using regular exercise and MFP to both count calories and balance macros, I am now down 150lbs from my starting weight of 425lbs in November 2018. Only 25lbs left to my goal of 250lbs! Fat loss has slowed but the lifestyle is now firmly in place. Once I reach my target weight I will then begin the…

May 1, 2017 - June 8, 2019 187 lbs - 149 lbs January 29, 2019 - June 8, 2019 156 lbs - 149 lbs I’m not too into sharing on MyFitnessPal, but I’ve used this tool for 10 years, and thought sharing my story might help someone who is losing hope during their weight loss and health journey. About three weeks after I had my…

Intermittent fasting
I’m down 9 pounds in 9 weeks with intermittent fasting. I’m fasting now 20 hours a day and eating within 4 hours. My workouts are done fasting to get the best results including more energy. My face is smoother and my sore knees feel better. I tried to do a 24 hour fast today but could only get to 22 hours. Still feel…

Gazelle
I was just wondering if anyone has had good results with using the Gazelle as your primary exercise? If so, how much weight have you lost? Just curious, as this is the machine I have.

Success of the nerds - Proof positive I am a geek. ;) 57.7 down only 162.7 to go.
I am at 4 months of losing weight. About 16 years ago I lost over 350 lbs and kept it off for about 10 years. 562.3 -> 207. After about 10 years I lost focus and put back on 200 of those hard lost pounds. Anyway, I thought I would post my daily weight chart - I love numbers, charts and statistics. I wish everyone the very…
