Aching Burning leg muscles

How much time before?
I am not one of those people that can go to the gym on an empty stomach. If I don't eat before I feel like I am going to pass out. I get all shaky it's not good. So how much time should I eat before going to the gym? That sentence doesn't sound right but hopefully you know what I mean lol

how do you calculate calories burned from exercise videos? I have a Garmin but not sure if I can use that or not. Do you also just make those "uncounted" benefits and how do you track in your exercise log?

Pain in lower legs after exercising
Hi. I always get a lot of pain in lower legs after exercising. I just started doing Leslie Sansone walk away the pounds, its low impact and it still happens. Should I just work through it or take Ibuprofen before my workouts? Any help is appreciated. I also have flat feet but I use Dr. Scholls insoles. Thanx :)

At work i stand up and sit down all day long. Is it dumb to assume that i burn calories while doing this. If so how can i find out how many calories i burn doing this.

I'm skeptical about the amount of calories burned performing certain activities. The one I can monitor using another means (treadmill, Wii, etc.) seem to be accurate, but the one that really stands out as odd is "shoveling snow".
