Exercise machines
Hi there, I'm very new here and looking for a good exercise machine to use alongside my healthy eating. I was thinking maybe a treadmill or a cross trainer. Can anyone recommend a good one? I am on a limited budget, £100-£150 being the very maximum I can afford. Any help would be appreciated :) Thanks

I have had mine for awhile, but haven't figured if there is a way to see what time it is when the watch is in "workout" mode. I can go between the amount of time I have been exercising, my zone, and calories burned...but I can seemed to see what time it is. Anyone know? Thank you

HRM Users
My Polar HRM stopped picking up my heart rate every so often, so I ordered a new strap and the Buh Bump cream. Do you still wet the electrodes and put the cream on or just use the cream by itself? I've never used the cream before so I didn't want to mess anything up. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in…

How to get a better cardio work out
Running a gym I see people working out incorrectly all the time. Most people hop on a machine and just go through the motions thinking that all they need to do is reach their set time. What they don’t realize is that by making a few minor adjustments, they can have much greater results. If you watch people work out on an…

Big difference shoveling snow
Having just finished shoveling the driveway and sidewalks for the 3rd time in 24 hours, I have to point out the obvious: Shoveling snow is a LOT easier when you have been consistently strength training for 10 months. Last year, this would have wiped me out for the afternoon. Now I hardly even notice it. (I still would…
