Help! Shin splints but need to run tonight.
I haven't had shin splints at all since I got my new shoes, but I also hadn't run two days in a row before this weekend. Well, I need to run again tonight. Any easy stretches I can do to relieve the pain before tonight?

I hate Cardio
Just a message I wanted to state. I struggle with it all the time. Just boring to me. Whether I'm doing the treadmill, outside, or a cardio dvd . . . I dread it. Anyone have the same feeling? Any tips?

What strength training routine do you do?
I'm looking for free/cheap strength routines! I don't go to a gym, I have 3lb dumbells, resistance bands, a stability ball and that's about it. Anyone have some good beginner routines, tips, websites? Thanks! :flowerforyou:

My first 10 kms race
On Saturday, I ran my very first 10 kms race. It was on country roads which were very, very, very hilly. I finished last with a time of 90 minutes but I do not care as someone has to be last. I am so proud of myself. I will be turning 57 on October 29 and I did it!!!!! Good for me!!!!
