I need energy for running ASAP!
I have been running for months and months now, only a handful of times I was able to run 3 miles, I can usually drag myself to do 2 miles, but its really hard. I have never been a big breakfast person, but whatever I need to do to get more energy to make a longer stronger run! Any ideas...

Runners--Do you listen to music while you run?
Do you listen to music while you run? Do you run on a treadmill or outside? Does it affect your run (better or worse)? I ran last night outside without music, and I think I actually ran better. I even shaved some time off.

knee pain....
I am having slight discomfort in my knee...it is the back inside part of it. It is not unbearable pain or anything, it is just uncomfortable. I am inquiring as to whether I should see the doctor about this or just tough it out? Any suggestions?

Pain from walking on treadmill
Recently I've started walking on a treadmill for about 30 minutes. I stretch before and after workouts and never walk on an incline. But still, within five minutes of walking my calf muscles start to cramp up really badly. The pain goes away shortly after I get off the treadmill. Can anyone tell me what's causing this?…

I may have asked this before, so I apologize if I have. I just completed a Turbo Jam dvd that I used to burn 430-450 calories doing before. Today, I only burned 400 calories, and I was definitely energetic while doing it. Is this normal?

swimming vs toning

exercising with an injured calf muscle
Since I work in an office, I wear heals ALOT. Thus, my calf muscles are shortened. I stretch everyday when I hit the gym, but this last few days, I am in a lot of pain. Finally got of the couch and ran
I woke up this morning got dressed and started the couch to 5k program. Thank you Lee for telling me about it. I jogged/walked for a little under a mile about 20 minutes of walking and 10 of jogging I feel really good and if I can keep up with my meal intake for today I will be good.

drinking water while running?
Do you usually bring water along on your runs? How long are your runs? I never have brought water along, and I was wondering if maybe I should to keep the energy going. I normally run 3 miles at a time. If I do bring water, how do I bring it/what do I bring it in?

Disappointed
I work out with a personal trainer Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. She was sick Wednesday and she just called and still isn't feeling well. I wanted to work out so bad. I was going to go anyway but I haven't done weight lifting by myself before.
