Bender Ball or No Crunch Abs?
Has anyone tried the Bender Ball and DVD, or the No Crunch Abs DVD? I saw these advertised and wondered how effective they would be. It sort of looked like things I could do at home by myself without having to purchase the DVD so I wonder if they're more complicated than the TV commercials show. TIA

3-1 MFP Runners Club
I just got done with 7 on the treadmill. I think that's the longest run I've had since September (when I did a half). I loved it! I can't wait for warm weather to run outside again, but then I'll miss my little set up for the tread (movie on close caption, ipod, chapstick, phones - just in case, fan, water - )

need advice...
I am fairly young, 23, and a full time student in clinicals. I get up way too early to exercise in the morning and by the time I get home my feet and knees hurt too bad to do anything. Plus all my homework kind of hinders that as well. My ankles have bothered me all my life (I was born with clubfeet) and I'm guessing that…

Elliptical Trainers
Has anyone had problems with their feet/legs going numb while using the elliptical. I talked to the trainer at my gym, and she said it was normal, but it seems weird to me. After about 10 minutes, I start loosing feeling in my toes, and it spreads up my legs, until I have to stop, and walk around for a while to get feeling…

Couch to 5k, help needed.
I started this today and I have some questions! At what pace do you walk and run? Today I did 3.4 for the walk, and 5 for the running part, but half way through I had to change to 3.2 and 4.5. I felt like I was going to die! The guy on the podcast said you shouldn't be out of breath, but I was the entire time. Also, my…

If I am sore...
should I be resting a day? I am reading Galloways running book and he stresses a day of "rest" in between. I usually walk/run a mile or two on the treadmill and then I do the elliptical for 20 to 30 min. I know it is individual for everyone, but is it ok to keep doing this daily even if I am sore? I don't want to hurt…

Turbo Jam
I just got my Turbo Jam Maximum results pakage in the mail. I got up this morning (watched biggest loser for that motivation) and tired the Learn and Burn DVD. How would I figure out how many calories I burned with this?
Hi, I have been walking 4.5 miles a day. Last night I bought 2 pound hand weights and carried/pumped one in each hand today during that 4.5 mile walk. I do not have a hrm. I go by what mfp says for the walking but I know I burned more calories with those weights. How would I figure out how many? Cindy

Stupid things people say
I was doing a muscle max class (similar to Body Pump) this morning. Anyway, as some people were leaving before stretching and the instructor said, "if you don't stretch when you get done you'll lose 90% of what you just did" HUH? I get I'd lose some flexibility and be a little more sore, but I still don't get where she…

Holy Cow!
I knew my scale had went whack a couple of weeks ago, but I thought I had gotten it fixed. Knowing it wasn't completely accurate I went out and bought a new one tonight. When I hopped on, it told me I was FIFTEEN lbs heavier than what I had thought. I'm not sure if this means I haven't lost any of the weight or if it means…
