Supplements with ephedra or ma huang
Hi guys, Years ago (2000-2001) I utilized Xenadrine and similar ephedra-based "stacker" supplements to help increase energy and lose weight, and this stuff worked amazingly well when used for short periods of time (30 days). I've never felt better in my life. I was pretty peeved when they banned them, but after all the…

Measuring small servings of oil
Earlier this week, there was a question about accurately measuring oil. I try to limit my fats to time-tested olive oil in small quantities. Measuring spoons and cups irritate me, so this is what I do: I weigh my Prepara oil mister in grams before using it, and then afterwards. The difference gives me an accurate number of…

Need advice on eating at home
So often people say that when they're home alone, they eat way more than they should. Well, I have the opposite problem... whenever I'm home alone during the day, I just cannot seem to motivate myself to eat, even if I'm hungry. I eat breakfast (usually a bowl of cereal) not long after I get up, but then the rest of the…

Healthy beer snacks?
So...I know that beer isn't the most calorie friendly or healthy drink to imbibe on. That being said...I am a man...I enjoy sports, red meat and beer. While drinking beer and watching sports though, I tend to want to snack on something. What have you found goes well with beer to snack on that is also low calorie?

Calories
I used to eat a lot of junk food since most days I have to go to University. But for the past two weeks I have given up all the junk food. I prepare meals at home. I am eating as much as I want. But all I have been able to eat turned out to be 1000 calories. :(

Steel Cut Oats -- Weighing
I had this all weighed out before but for some reason I forget. The oats I am using says Per 1/4 cup (40g) is 150 calories the prep instructions says for 4 servings 4 1/2 cups of water 1 cup oats So does that mean 40g's cooked is 150 calories? Seems high as if I remember correctly oatmeal is usually pretty low cal.

Healthy Cookbooks
Are there any cookbooks or websites you use to come up with new healthy recipies. I eat pretty good but I tend to fall in the same rut of eating the same foods over and over and I keep things very plain and simple. When I eat like this I get bored and never finish my meal. For example...last night I have 3 oz of grilled…
