Stevia is awful
Last night I was trying to make a chocolate avocado (sugar free) mousse recipe I found on pinterest. I think if I had used the suggested sweetener it would have turned out. But all I had was normal sugar and STEVIA. The very small amount I use in tea (1/4 cup to a gallon, stevia in the raw cup for cup) is JUST FINE. But…

An egg within an egg!!!
Yesterday one of my hens laid a big, long egg I assumed to be a double yolker. I saved it for breakfast this morning, and when I cracked it into the pan, this is what I saw: Whoa! I've never seen anything like that, so naturally I snapped a picture and put it on Facebook. It was firmer than an egg yolk. My friends had a…

Sugar
It seems every day I am over in my sugar. I don't really eat that badly. Mostly I think my sugars come from fruit. Is there such a thing as "good" sugar? I keep telling myself that sugar from a fruit and sugar from a chocolate bar is not the same thing... but I don't know if I am doing this just to make myself feel better…

Filling, easy lunch ideas!
I'm in college & for lunch I've typically been eating the grilled chicken sandwich from Chickfila for lunch every single day. I'm not necessarily getting tired of it, but I think I'd rather make my own lunches from here on out. I always accompany the sandwich with about 200 calories worth of peanuts, so thats always my…

How much stevia is okay to have in a day?
Does anyone know if there is a limit to how much stevia is too much? After midnight
If you eat something after midnight do you count it as the next days calories? Lets say I went to eat something right now (12:58EST on 10/11), should that be tracked under the 10th's calories since I haven't gone to bed yet or should I count it as the 11th's since it's officially the 11th?
