Best way to get protein sans powder/shakes?
Oh and sans beans/grains too because they're so high in carbs/fiber. My best guess - Seeds, Nuts, Lean cuts of red meat, Fish, Eggs, Poultry, and some Veggies? What would you suggest?

Calories and Carbs Don't line up
Anyone notice this? Its not much, like 100 calories per day at around 2000 calories but I am consistently more calories when i take fx9 cx4 px4 vs just the straight addtion of calories? Does anyone know why this would be? is it rounding in the macronutrient calorie numbers?

What's the big deal about nuts especially over bread?
I do not understand why nuts are such a big deal and suppose to be healthy. I think they provide too much fat and calories to be worth the protein and other stuff. I have seen food journals where they eat almond butter plain and complain they are hungry. Bread has the same calories and protein with fiber and is far…

Sugar Free or Fat Free?
The ladies at work are chatting about coffee creamer. One is saying Fat Free is "better" for you than Sugar Free and the other is saying the opposite. If you're not on a specifically sugar restrictive diet - would one be inherently better for you than the other?

Protein macro question.
Everything I've read says that I should get anywhere from 0.8-1g of protein for every lb of body weight but my default macro set by MFP is 70g per day. I weigh 265. What gives? I'm not sure I need 1g of protein for every lb because I'm not strength training. I just run 3 days per week. I do plan to start a strength routing…
