Blacked out/almost fainted!
I've been doing about 1300 calories a day....normally I have about 800 left for my dinner meal. Today was a bit strange for me.....I had breakfast at 6am, and then made and egg and whole grain toast around 10am because I was super hungry. Never really had a 'real' lunch just some veggies and a slice of cheese around 1pm.…

Weighing Chicken (and other meat)
I weigh my chicken raw, and cut it into portions, depending on what I'm making - 1 ounce pieces to grill in kebobs, 4 ounces to oven bake, etc. Then, I'll select, say, "Chicken Breast - 4 ounces" from the database for my dinner. The next day, I'll be making something else with the leftover cooked chicken - already cut in…

logging calories after eating out???
I've been having the hardest time trying to log the food I eat when I go to a restaurant, or local cafe or something along those lines. I end up coming home and going through the database and picking entries that I think are close to what I ate, but that seems risky seeing that I need to make sure I don't severely go over…

6 vs 3
Do you graze or eat 3 solid meals with a tiny snack in between? I currently do the latter I know we should switch things up with our exercise every now and then to spur on weight loss so I'm wondering if switching to six mini meals is worthwhile.

Please talk me out of the Entenmann's box
Last weekend, DH's dad was here for a visit. As a treat when Pop Pop comes, we get an Entenmann's Ultimate Crumb Cake. Well, I don't know what I was thinking, and I had my two little girls with me, but I bought TWO crumb cakes! Not only that, but my 3 year old talked me into buying a bag of mini powdered donuts! Wine...
Ok, so here's the deal.... I can go all day eating really healthy and then there's dinner time and I end up drinking wine...and not just one glass, more like a bottle. So if I drink a few/a lot of glasses of vino and I'm still under my calorie count, is that still on track? Honestly wine is my "Achilles Heel". I could go…

All green on every goal?
How interested are you in being below your goal for each item you're tracking? For example, I try to be just under my calorie goal by no more than 40, but I don't mind if I go over on my carbs or fat a bit (5-10g). What do you pay most attention to, or do you aim to be at or just below on all of them?
