I've been on 5 mg crestor for about a year. Cardiologist took me off the crestor & wants to recheck the test in 2 mo. My ? is…

Personal Trainer Apps
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with Personal Trainer Apps. I have been working out for the last month and I know I'm building muscle but haven't lost hardly any weight. I've checked and since I live in a rural area no trainers are available in my area. I just want to see results on this darn scale. I'm doing…

Restarted the 3rd time - 4lbs down so far
I felt like I hit a plateau or my body was just resistant or maybe I wasn’t doing a good job tracking my calories. I restarted my weight loss in September at 160lbs and didn’t lose anything in 2 months. I decided to give my body a break. I stopped all exercising and all food tracking from mid November to end of December. I…

Mfp glitches
I can’t see my profile.. can’t see my feed etc. I am surprised community works. I CAN access my diary and update my weight so I did that. Sometimes my diary freezes so since it has been pissing me off I just have been logging my calories on a calculator on my phone for now. Anyone else having issues with the app AND…

Joint pain after working out
I’m just getting back into working out at the gym. It’s been awhile since I’ve done any weights at all. But after last week, my joints hurt. And this isn’t muscle soreness, it’s my elbows, knees, etc.. I didn’t think I went too heavy either. Anyone else experience this?

Craving = Binge?
There is a HUGE difference between overeating and binging. I do both - but I can usually control just overeating. On another thread I just read some advice re. watching macros to help avoid cravings - I'm going to try this! Have any bingers out there (true bingers.... not "I went slightly over my calorie" people but people…

New feature Garmin is offering
I just checked in to my Garmin app (I have the Vivofit 2 tracker) and it is now offering a menstrual tracker. Great idea but 10 years too late for me. I can definitely see how it would be handy both when I was in my prime childbearing years and also for tracking when I was entering menopause. Doctors always want to know…

How many times can you hit a plateau?
I know during weightloss everyone hits a plateau at some point, but does this happen numerous times throughout the process or just once? Can't seem to find an answer from Google search.

Question about increasing calories
Hello! So I have done calorie counting before (successfully when I have stuck to it). However, over the last 6 months I have started running which I did not do before. When I calorie counted previously, I never really monitored exercise calories as it was barely active at best. When I started running 6 months ago, I ate…

Spin at home?
Hi I have started to really enjoy spin class, But it is new to me, have only been to 5 classes. I can only make it to one or two classes a week, because life, work schedule. I am considering getting a bike for home, but I am terrified that I just won’t use it and it will end up being a laundry rack. I know I tend to start…

Weightloss Roadblock
Does anyone else experience illness relatively soon after starting weight loss? It seems like every time I start moving in the right direction I end up with a respiratory virus or something else that takes me out of commission. RIP Favourite Jeans
I'm not looking for advice here or anything of the sort- I just needed a space to be annoyed about a thing! So y'know how it is. Often the sign that your weight is A Problem isn't when you look in the mirror. It's when you pull on your favourite pair of jeans and, well, getting that button closed is... a stretch. Followed…

Had a binge day Argh!!
I don't know why but it came on last night before bed and I couldn't/didn't stop myself. :( It's as if my body went on automatic and I had no control. I think part of it might be because the scale seems to be bouncing around the same numbers for the past few weeks and it's getting disheartening/boring/discouraging. Maybe…

Getting comfortable losing weight
How does everyone get comfortable losing weight? I have my current goal weigh which is in 7 pounds. Beyond that how do I get comfortable with the idea of losing weight? I’ve been making the goal to lose 10 pounds, then 10 pounds.
