A new me this year that's my goal!
Hi I'm Jackie, I am starting fresh this year. No more gaining and losing weight all the time. I have a lot to lose 120 pounds. I lost 150 pounds about 13 years ago so I know it can be done. I'm doing baby steps by exercising 5 days a week and making healthier choices, along with severely limiting junk food.

How to change food units?
Hi all, I wonder if there is a setting I haven't found yet that allows me to change the units if I am creating my own food. I am European, so I do not measure in cups or oz, so does anyone know how I can change to ml and g? Thanks a lot!

Slow, Incremental Changes or All In?
Yes, I'm one of those annoying people who waited until January 1 to get healthy. But here I am. I lost 80 pounds with MFP a couple of years ago and then got re-stupid. So, time to get un-stupid again. Here's my question....I know what I need to do...but do I go "all in" with 45 min of cardio, 20 gallons of water (or 8-12…

How often do you weigh yourself?
Weekly, fortnightly or monthly? I'm wondering how often I should weigh myself since me and the scales have a very unhealthy relationship at the minute.... I seem to be a bit obsessed! At the minute I weigh myself every day.... Which I know I shouldn't be doing. The smallest gain sets me on a breakdown binge and then the…

I thought I could link my Garmin Vivofit with my Myfitnesspal account, atlease that is what the Garmin Connect website led me to believe. How come I do not see this option under apps and devices to add? I could not put this under technical support.

Garmin adjustment
Hello! Can anyone tell me whether I should be inputting my activity if I'm using a garmin vivofit? It's counting the steps and synching nicely with my MFP account, but I'm wondering if I should be logging running on top of that or not? The adjustment will take into account the extra calories burned through the extra steps…

Would love long-time member support
About five years ago, I dropped 60 of the 90 pounds I needed to lose. Since then, I slowly gained back that plus a bonus 10. My attitude the first time was very weight loss-driven. Cliched, but this time, really not focusing on weight loss, though it's a measure of success. I'm focused instead on changing the way I eat.…

Medical logs?
Forgive me, I am new. I tried searching and didn't fine results for what I was looking for. Is there a place on MFP to log medical stats such as blood pressure, blood sugar, etc? If not I think it would be a great idea...the more info the better IMHO. Is there somewhere we can submit suggestions?

Do you count tea and coffee as part of your water intake?
I have never counted (or considered) it part of my water intake. I read a post that suggested you could count it. Please let me know why or why you don't count it. And yes, I've read the links on the myth of tea and coffee dehydrating and therefore shouldn't be counted.
