Is there a free graphing program like trendweight
that will graph both weight trends and net calories? Just curious to see the overlay of data. Right now the best I can do is screencap trendweight.com and MFP for 3 months and look at them one lined up over the other. :)

Now that I'm at maintenance- some advice please
I read through the "long term maintainers" posts but I still have a few questions. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. It took me a little over a year and have to lose 57 pounds- actually took about a year to lose 45 and then another 6 months to lose the last 10-12. So I was hovering around maintenance for quite a…

HELP! Not sure if I should be eating in maintenance yet or not
Ok so over the last 15 months I have lost 85 lbs. I'm a 31 year old 5' 6" female. My original goal was to hit 150 lbs but now that I'm here I've found I have a lot of body fat left especially on my legs and butt. I lift twice a week, run 3 times a week (about 2 miles or so) and do an exercise class an hour a week. My…

Help needed on recomp/maintenance
So I've lost a considerable amount of weight in under a year and would like to start adding muscle mass by way of recomping. My current weight is 196 and my goal weight is 190 but I have been stuck in a plateau for about 2 months now and think my body is telling me its time for a major change. My question is since I still…

Ambiguity regarding recomp. lifting
So I've been reading around the whole recomp vs bulk/cut debate on this forum, and have decided I'd like to begin a stepped progression from aggressive dieting (1200kcal/day has been the order of business for the last 5 weeks) towards recomposition over the next few weeks by about a 200 calorie increase per week. Opinion…

Getting things in proportion.
I really hope I can get some help. I've lost 37lbs so far and 4lbs off my target, but now my upper body is a bit too skinny and my legs, especially my calves, are still quite chubby. I've been reading about recomposition. Might that be an answer, or would it be better to try loosing more weight until I'm more in balance.

Are you still counting calories on maintenance?
I've been counting calories for 3 months, this has worked really well for me since I was eating meals I enjoy and it's worked better than other diets I've tried in the past. I'm still not in my goal weight but I realized I'm actually happy about how I look and how my clothes fit at the moment, so I'm thinking about…

Scared of putting weight back on after 1300 kcal diet?
I started doing a 1200-1400 kcal diet, I wasn't overweight or anything I just wanted to lose some of the weight I had put on. Now I'm nearly at my goal weight I'm really worried about putting weight back on after. If I just increase my calories by 100 a week until I get up to my maintenance kcals will this prevent me from…

staying exactly the same weight!
I've been in maintenance now about 6 months and had success. My weight always stays between 59.3 kilos and 61 kilos, a smallish enough range. Actually it usually fluctuates by about .3 kilos up or down on a weekly basis. Now for the past 3 weeks with the usual once weekly weigh in, it's been EXACTLY the same at 60.6! I am…

Interesting study on weight maintenance
Study suggests method to maintain stable weight loss "Many people lose weight through diet and exercise, only to find it as difficult, or harder, to keep the weight off than it was to lose it. Researchers in Denmark found obese people who lose weight can avoid this if they maintain their initial weight loss for at least a…

Determining maintanance calories
I've read around other forums that people tend to reduce their calories by 100 or so each week until they stop losing weight, I just have a few questions about doing this. I've been eating to MFP's suggested maintenance value for 12d and trendweight says that I'm still eating at a 316 calorie deficit, basic readings on the…

Upper end of goal range - maintenance or gain?
I lost 40 lbs. and have been in maintenance for a year and a half. I am at the gym 5x weekly doing cardio/strength. I maintain at 1600-1800 cals which was set for my TDEE. I always eat back gym cals. I set myself a 2 lb. range, so that I will go back to 1250 weight loss cals (plus gym cals) if I go over that for any more…

3 Years+ Maintainers-do you track calories Yes/No?
A thread in the general weight loss area has piqued my curiosity about weight management adherence and tracking/not tracking calories. I'm wondering how many here, who have been in maintenance for 3 years or more, still track their calories on a regular basis vs those who are able to maintain without tracking?

Small Women in Maintenance!
Hi! I reached my goal weight some time ago, after losing around 35 pounds. However I am struggling with maintenance, more mentally than physically, I just can't adjust to the idea of eating more because it feels like I am giving in and will gain weight. I am very short (only 4ft 11) and I am just wondering what the average…

Success in maintenance

Sweets one day, hunger the next
I'm finding that if I indulge in carbs one day, I'm hungry the day after. Today is a case in point. Yesterday was a big carb day and today I'm plagued by hunger. At 10:30, I'm still hungry, despite having a good breakfast at 8. I'm realizing that this is exactly why I've gained weight in the past and I need a new approach.…

In a Maintenance Funk (and fighting weight creep)
My 3 year maintenance anniversary is in a couple weeks, and instead of celebrating this milestone, I'm feeling very down about the whole weight/maintenance thing. Frustration
I have been doing this calorie counter almost a year now. During the summer I did get down to my goal of 136 lbs, but climbed up to where I started (144 lbs).
