FINALLY DOING IT!
I’m a 62 year young female. Starting weight on 3/9/24 was 301.9 and in less than 2 weeks I lost 21lbs. I currently weigh 280.1 and I’m weighing again in 2 days on 4/11/24. I went from only sitting or laying down to getting out and walking. I started out slow and I’m gradually building up. I would like tj eventually walk…

“Treat/Cheat” or no?
I like to take each Sunday and not measure, track or log food. I don’t think about what I eat. I just enjoy the day. I take a break. It seems to help motivate me all during the week and keep me on track to Sunday. Any opinions?

Problem with alcohol
Hi, I’ve been using MFP for some years now but have never belonged to the community. Food is not a problem to me but alcohol is and I would like 2024 to be an alcohol free year but I do need accountability as I don’t seem to be able to kick the habit on my own

Starting Over!
I'm 53 years old and starting over in terms of getting fit. I'm really trying to not focus on the numbers on the scale, but looking at maintaining around 1700-1800 calories, >100gms of protein, and going to the gym for resistance training 3-4 times per week. Who else is out there working to accomplish something similar?

I’ve been doing this since about the end of February, the beginning of March, had some bad days, but a lot of good days. Some days I just want food. I just want to stuff my face. Like I’ve done good all day today and I want to call and order a pizza. I’ve lost around 15 pounds so I’m almost to my halfway mark to my first…

A recommendation for bingo wings
I’ve lost a lot. Gained some back. But am losing again. Many of us who have lost a lot of weight have sagging skin. I’m open to suggestions for exercise to reduce the upper arm sag. But in the meantime I want to share something I have found that helps minimize the saggy look, and protects from sunburn too. Do a search on…

Celiac
I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease a little over a year ago. Instead of losing weight going gluten free, I gained weight. As I'm 60 years old, it's already really hard to lose weight, but with Celiac it's even harder. I go to the gym at least 4 times per week. Any suggestions? It's really frustrating.
