Back to MFP again
I've been trying to lose this menopause weight for sometime now. Can't do a lot of activities due to back problems. I've lost 15 pounds and reached a plateau. The pull is hard but have to get this BMI down to a normal place. Pre diabetes is showing up and want to change the generational gift left for me. Anyone else with…

A recommendation for bingo wings
I’ve lost a lot. Gained some back. But am losing again. Many of us who have lost a lot of weight have sagging skin. I’m open to suggestions for exercise to reduce the upper arm sag. But in the meantime I want to share something I have found that helps minimize the saggy look, and protects from sunburn too. Do a search on…

LADA Type 1.5 diabetes.
I'm looking for more people like me. I was misdiagnosed as a Type 2. LADA is Type 1. Adult onset. If you come in overweight docs will assume you are Type 2. And wont test! I was put on the wrong med for 2 years. Are there any other LADA's out there?

Celiac
I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease a little over a year ago. Instead of losing weight going gluten free, I gained weight. As I'm 60 years old, it's already really hard to lose weight, but with Celiac it's even harder. I go to the gym at least 4 times per week. Any suggestions? It's really frustrating.

Stuck
Hey everyone I’m sure this is asked all the time. I’m stuck. After a huge injury I put on 45 pounds. Relaxed and started eating fast food and bad foods. I had enough and got back again. I’m eating much healthier. Salads, chicken etc. keeping my macros pretty close on target. Lost 10 pounds pretty quickly. Hit a plateau I’m…

Hypothyroidism…don’t feel well. Please help!
Hey everyone, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s 11 years ago in 2013. For the longest, I avoided medication or doing anything about it really. In 2018, I went gluten free which helped so much. I either have Celiac or a severe gluten allergy. I get severe bloating and all over body swelling when I eat it. My antibodies…

Just Feeling Stuck
How do you get moving and doing when you just can’t/won’t. I know I should “get out for a walk” or “go to the gym” but I’ve been thinking about it all day… How do u motivate yourself to “Just Do It”. Thanks!

The scale moved!
Ok yeah, I know the scale isn’t everything but man this was my first go at it and yeah I went over my calories and I know it and I keep trying to do good every time. I got a long way to go but sheeeesh it feels good either way! I bought a spin bike that’s able to hold my weight. I’m very intimidated at this point.

Long journeys
Started February 9th at 222 lbs... my goal is 160 lbs. I am 5'7 & 38 years old. It's a long process and I am here for it. I'm in no rush. I'm not skimping on any calories and trying to starve myself either. My first goal set in mind is to get under 200 lbs of course. I think that's a common one for people over 200 to have.…

Delulu Reasons Why
For those not in the know, "delulu" is a fun way to say "delusional." Some people have an actual cruise planned they want to look good for, some people are strictly doing it for their health. There's a kind of embarrassing, secret third reason that might be motivating us, unless I'm just alone. It's kind of petty, but a…
