Feel free to add me as a friend on MFP: stemen.tony@yahoo.com OR username ClassicL337 I recently celebrated my 39th Birthday (November 19th), but it was unlike any birthday I have ever had. 190 days ago (6+ months), I began a journey with 3 goals in mind: #1: Break Food Addiction; #2: Translate my Mental Health into…

2 year progress!!
Dec 3 2017 vs Dec 3 2019 2 years of weightlifting and counting macros! I cannot tell you how unhappy I used to be with my body. Imagine always avoiding looking in the mirror just to avoid seeing yourself and how bad you've let things become. Years of selfishness and poor decisions literally begin to weigh you down…

All my life I been doing a half shred and bulks trying to figure out how I can eat as much as I can but still stay lean ,Like literally 😂 . The wibbly wobbly, timey wimey rollercoaster of maintaining a 90ish pound weight loss – 5 years on
Another year of maintenance, another post from me with a year in review. I’ve come to look forward to this little tradition. Five years ago this month, I hit my goal weight. But as has been made clear to me (painfully at times) over the years, losing the weight is only the start of the journey. The goal weight isn’t a…

Jean size/inches lost?
Now that I have lost around 73 pounds, from 272 to 199/200 I wish I had documented how many inches I lost. If that is the right way to say it. I was in 46 jeans from the tall and fat store and now I'm a normal store 38. Is there any way to figure the inches lose in my stomach? Is it as easy as just saying 8 inches because…

Sorry if this is TMI...
Had to “drop the Browns off at the Super Bowl” while at work and the handicap bathroom stall is broken so I had to use the regular stall and i had more than enough room! It’s like a whole new world has opened up for me lol

Success story photos only
I've spent most of my life obese and in poor health. I always made the excuse of there's no time to eat right or exercise. After being crippled with arthritis and high blood pressure I decided to make changes. I studied bodybuilding and nutrition. Those two things changed my life drastically. I've dropped over 60 lb of fat…

Drum roll please....
That’s my butt in size 10 jeans. TEN! After being a size 26 I can’t freaking believe I’m one pant size away from single digits. Geesh. 😂

Goodbye high blood pressure
So far I’m down 65 lbs since this January. Not only have I been able to create a healthier lifestyle (still working on really understanding nutrition), I’ve self cured my high blood pressure, quit smoking and just feel great overall. It’s been a hell of a ride and it’s far from over, just wanted to share.

Living my best life!
I had tried a couple of times to go 100% plant based (vegan). Not for weight loss or health but for my own personal reasons. First time I went cold turkey and refused to supplement and at first I felt amazing but by the end of the month I crashed and burned! Went back to eating meat. I had a trainer who insisted that I eat…

My year apart photo 💖
So this is me !! Taking the first photo exactly a year ago , not particularly liking my body but hoping I could do a comparison photo a year later ! 46lb down , and found my love for working out . It wasn’t an easy road but I don’t think it is for anyone , we all come across our bumps in the road ! But it was worth it 💖

Back at it
Its been over a year since my injury to my calf. I have been just walking for my cardio, but dont feel like I am getting anything out of walking I gained 20lbs in the last year. So today I decided it was time to get jogging and not be afraid of injuring myself. I went for 45 minute jog/walk combo! It felt good! A little…

My wife got this for me lol
Over the past 3 months, I’ve lost 30 pounds while lifting heavy. I’ve still got a long way to go to get to my goal but my biceps have firmed up a bit and I jokingly ask my wife to feel them all the time so she got me this mug for my birthday yesterday lol

Finally "Normal" BMI
Ever since having my daughter in 2014, it's been quite a struggle to finally be able to figure this eating thing out. Now I feel like I get it. My heaviest weight after having her was 210. (It's so weird writing that. ) I am 5'8. In the last 5 years I would lose some, put it back on, lose some again....and repeat the…

Is it the weight loss or is it confidence?
So i've been pondering this a lot recently and I would love some other perspectives. I've lost 40ish pounds in the last 8 months or so and I've noticed that people in general treat me a little different and mostly better. More likely to help, friendlier and more talkative, complimentary etc. I've always been an outgoing…

Quit drinking=Become lean..er
Will keep it short. Within 7 months of being alcohol-free I “somehow” lost 16kg (96kg in late March).. How about such simple action to drop few kgs? *yup, without any superb fat-loss workout plans

I never thought I’d post.
I’ve struggled with my weight since I was a kid, it has just always been a problem. I’ve been as high as 300+ as an adult and in size 26’s. Today I cried in a dressing room because I pulled on size 12 jeans that still had some wiggle room in them. I still don’t know how to process this.

I’m back to 179!
I let myself get off track for the past 3 years and just a few months ago I was in the 190’s again. I have gotten back on track and after a headache of a plateau I finally began losing weight again. Now I’m back to 179 for the first time in a long time! I also fit two pairs of jeans I bought a few months ago. They were…

Celebrating myself!
I just wanted a place to celebrate my loss of 35 pounds since really committing to getting healthy. Being that I have about an additional 200 pounds left to lose, my loss is one that I don't think the general public is noticing yet, though I certainly can notice, mostly in my pants not staying up anymore (not a joke, I…

My best weight loss advice to you...I wish I knew starting out

Through my setbacks and experiences, I want to share the 3 biggest things that I wish I knew when I started. 1.Don’t give into the fad diets, unless you have direction from a Dr. for medical reasons stick to a balanced diet. • I have tried…
